Amber color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Green pepper, floral, citrus, toast, toffee, bitter hop finish.

UPDATED: MAY 23, 2016 Draft at Coxe Ave brewery. Personally don?t note the peppers in the aroma but overpowering in the taste. Good beer of the genre. Lingering light heat

Would like more heat in this, but the flavor and nose are solid, fruity and floral, lots of pepper and earthy finish. Light to moderate in terms on heat/

Bomber---orange color with a small, white, foamy head. Aroma has some hops but peppers dominate. The taste is similar with peppers overwhelming the hops. Medium finish with hot pepper spice on the end. They did pull off the pepper taste in the beer. Brusin ales

radagast83 (8074) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - SEP 24, 2015
Draft at the Coxe Ave location. Poured a slightly dark, slightly translucent orange color with a small fluffy white head. Aroma was light roasted pepper, no heat, just some of the fruit with a touch of light sweet malts. Flavor was subtle heat, some pleasant pepper notes with a malty finish.

Draft at their brewpub, hazy orangy-golden color with off-white head. Aroma notes of citrus hops, jalapenos and caramel malt. Taste adds light pepper heat and light earthy/herbal bitterness. Light-medium body, low-moderate carbonation, dry with light spice finish. Very nice lighter pepper beer.

Dogbrick (13027) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 22, 2015
Sample at the brewpub. Slightly hazy orange color with a medium thin white head that recedes steadily. Spotty lacing. Aroma of hops, peppers and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of earthy malt, jalapeno and herbal hops. The finish is peppery and malty. Decent overall.

Keg at the brewpub on Coxe, Asheville, 17/02/15. Clear golden with a moderate off white cap. Nose is light spice, trace of green pepper, malt, toffee. Taste comprises caramel, green chilli heat - but subtle enough and kept in check, vanilla essence. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.

4oz on tap at the brewpub. Clear orange amber color. Thin off-white head. Leaves great, thicker lace. Whoa. I did not expect the pepper before my first sip. It’s certainly obvious now. Though, not over the top. Nice roasted, toasty smoked jalapeno pepper aroma. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Light slick finish. Moderate sweet taste. Light bitter. Some peppery kick. Definitely interesting stuff. Fun to try.
