Draft. Golden color, small white head. Aroma has peppers. The peppers sneak up on you in the taste fairly quickly, then keeps building. Nice bite to this one. Theydon_Bois (19571) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2015
Keg at the brewpub on Coxe, Asheville, 17/02/15.
Clear golden with a moderate off white cap.
Nose is light spice, trace of green pepper, malt, toffee.
Taste comprises caramel, green chilli heat - but subtle enough and kept in check, vanilla essence.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - APR 16, 2013
Draft. Lightly hazed amber body with medium off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange, grapefruit, juicy jalapeno. Taste is medium sweet, orange, light chile/chile heat. Light-medium body, light acidity. Really like how the heat in the nose is significantly moderated in the taste. Dogbrick (13040) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 22, 2015
Sample at the brewpub. Slightly hazy orange color with a medium thin white head that recedes steadily. Spotty lacing. Aroma of hops, peppers and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of earthy malt, jalapeno and herbal hops. The finish is peppery and malty. Decent overall. slowrunner77 (12060) - Reno, Nevada, USA - APR 5, 2016
Would like more heat in this, but the flavor and nose are solid, fruity and floral, lots of pepper and earthy finish. Light to moderate in terms on heat/

Source: 12 Bones
Appearance: clear copper, creamy beige head, sticky lace
Aroma: big spicy japalano pepper aroma, touch of sweetness
Flavor: flavor starts off sweet and malty before the hot peppers kick in, well balanced with the peppers prominant but not over the top, lingering peppery finish
Date: September 15, 2011
Appearance: cloudy orange, frothy off white head
Aroma: great spicy green chili aroma
Flavor: lots of fresh chili flavor, malt base is simple but stands up to balance the chili with a touch of sweetness to make it more about chili flavor than heat

4oz on tap at the brewpub. Clear orange amber color. Thin off-white head. Leaves great, thicker lace. Whoa. I did not expect the pepper before my first sip. It’s certainly obvious now. Though, not over the top. Nice roasted, toasty smoked jalapeno pepper aroma. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Light slick finish. Moderate sweet taste. Light bitter. Some peppery kick. Definitely interesting stuff. Fun to try. blipp (9314) - La Mesa, California, USA - JAN 13, 2012
Draft. Pours amber orange with a white head. Light chili aroma with some pale malts. The flavor has good jalapeno flavor with not a ton of heat, with a plain pale malty base. Solid. b3shine (8878) - Indiana, USA - JUN 14, 2012
Draft to pint. Looks decent; a deep copper with nice lacing. Smells like jalapenos. Tastes like shit. Overly peppery with an awful mouthfeel. I wouldn’t recommend this. radagast83 (8080) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - SEP 24, 2015
Draft at the Coxe Ave location. Poured a slightly dark, slightly translucent orange color with a small fluffy white head. Aroma was light roasted pepper, no heat, just some of the fruit with a touch of light sweet malts. Flavor was subtle heat, some pleasant pepper notes with a malty finish.
