Sampler pours golden with a white head. Aroma of cereal and grains. Taste of malt and a little yeast.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Strange malty and grainy sweet aroma. The flavor is grainy and corny-ish. Not that good. DiarmaidBHK (4797) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 1, 2012
Draft at Brixx Asheville. Pours yellow with a thin white head. It’s basically beer flavored beer but if I really focus I get this slight malt note. There’s a slightl oiliness in the finish. Not the worst beer in its style. Travlr (24333) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 15, 2011
Draft. Pale yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of straw and light pepper. Taste is light straw. Average. Braudog (6678) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - OCT 8, 2011
Draft at the brewpub. Bright and light yellow and mellow looking. Drinks with a corny aspect, somewhat kolsch-y, and I have a sneaking suspicion this isn’t really a lager. Bit maltier than a kolsch though, too. (#4291, 10/5/2011)

Draught at Pack’s Tavern. Pours yellow-gold with a sparse bubbled head that diminishes to trace lace. The nose is of cereal and grain. Cereal flavor, with some grain and a lightly bitter grainy finish. The mouthfeel is hollow, with slightly overactive carbonation levels. A decent summer sweat buster; an easy quaff with not a lot of complexity to bog down the senses. jhumphries69 (1034) - Tyrone, Georgia, USA - MAY 14, 2011
Draft at the brewpub. Yellow pour. Malty cereal quality. Hint of diacetyl. Refreshing. beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - MAY 9, 2011
Draft at Merrimon. Gold color with a thin white head. Scent is earthy and caramel. Thin LilBeerDoctor (3904) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 1, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of light fruits, pale bready malts. Flavor of bready malt, caramel malt, with light bitter hops in the finish. Not too sweet and easy drinking. Better than I had expected! It really is a Kolsch, not a premium lager.

Middle of the road all malt lager. Pours slightly watery. Biscuity malt profile. Well balanced, but thin and a bit weak on the flavor side. Noble hop twang is there but not overly aggressive.
