The destroyer, the creator, the benefactor. Shiva is all these things. We set out to create an IPA that anyone can enjoy, and we think we succeeded. As the flagship beer in our lineup, we’ve yet to encounter a soul who believes contrary. A crisp, citrusy Indian Pale Ale with a light color, Shiva will destroy all your preconceptions of an IPA. A transcendentally simple malt bill accents a generous helping of Columbus hops, lending an intense floral aroma with hints of grapefruit and a pleasant bittering quality. Your palette will be lifted to higher planes of consciousness with a bittersweet finish.

Can at the corner kitchen in Asheville. Pours a cloudy orange with a white head. Aromas of tangerine and grapefruit. Taste is slightly bitter with a bit of a malty caramel aftertaste. Pretty decent though.

Floral aroma dominates the nose. A clear amber pour with no head or lacing. The taste is similar to the nose. Florals and some citrus notes. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, a good IPA that went well with a veggie pizza.

From a can. Liked it more than I expected to. Pours medium orange with a decent white head. Definite flowers, grapefruit, pine on the palate- sort of tastes like a dialed back version of Columbus hops. Not tons of dankness or resin. Finishes a bit bitter- hit of astringent in there- but overall pretty drinkable IPA.

Can brought back from NC. Pours a cloudy orange with white head. Aroma is really weak hops, almost malty. Taste is also missing hop bitterness. Not even close to an IPA. Though maybe an old can?? But no, only 8 days old. Just not that good.

Pint at Coxe ave location. Ok aroma. Sweet. Citrus, grapefruit’, grainy. Clean brownish Orange Color on head no real lace. Bitter flavor. Medium body creamy oily mouthfeel. Bitter Finish. It’s ok. Not wowing me. But it’s fine.

Pours medium orange with a touch of noticeable haze. Nose is flowery and citrus. Flavor is sweet candy, some citrus, some light astringent flavors and some spicy hop flavors. Bitterness is punchy and lingers. Ok beer.

Clear. Sweet candied pineapple and floral aroma. Bready caramel notes with some residual sweetness. Lingering bitterness. Floral and candy-like hop flavors. A bit over carbed I think. Good.
