bubbleflubber (2227) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - JUN 1, 2013
On tap at the 1st annual Asheville Rare & Wild Beer Tasting 2013, this pours orange-amber into the glass with a fluffy head that leaves webbed lacing. The nose is of definite farmhouse notes. Pale malts accompany biscuit flavors and tannins, with a closing citrus and hay finish. Surprisingly drinkable for the aged Shiva, the hops have mellowed quite, maturing this brew quite a bit. It’s complex and absolutely delicious.

Suttree (6392) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 28, 2010
On tap at the Coxe Avenue location. Cloudy orange, decent white head. Aroma is rather faint, but what I can smell is pretty citrusy. Flavor is very citrusy, but also sweet. Kind of a juicy sweet, actually, not a caramel sweet like I was expecting. As it warms, some brown sugar and honey, as well. Nice stuff.
