MrTipple (6570) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 29, 2017
Elderflower, straw, grain malts. Clear, pale gold, tiny, creamy, white head. Light bitter. Floral hops, elderflower, bitter citrus fruits, straw, grass, soft carbonation, light bodied. Decent Golden Ale, nice elderflower throughout, but aroma works particularly well. Cask at GBBF17, Kensington Olympia.

The_Osprey (9343) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 27, 2017
August 2017 - Cask handpull at GBBF 2017, Kensington Olympia. As 'Ashover Elderflower'. Very pale yellow, clear and still, bubbly off-white head leaves dotted lacing. Aroma is huge on the elderflower, slight lime, more elderflower. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is, as could perhaps be guessed, elderflower, light minerally, sugary, elderflower cordial. Delivers on its promises entirely. And I like elderflower and St Germain cocktails etc, so I'm happy enough. But it's a little one-dimensional. (7-3-6-4-14=3.4)

Garrold (5679) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2017
Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, pale yellow gold. Thick, frothy, lasting, white head. Nose is bright and predictably floral. Crisp malts. Hint of strawberry hop. Taste is well balanced, floral sweet and clean hop bitter. Airy mouthfeel. Fine carbonation. Dry and clean finish. Ashover don’t do bad beer.

Cask at GBBF 17, day one, 08/08/17.
Light golden blonde with a decent off white head.
Nose is big on white peppery spice, glorious elderflower aroma, spice, earthy, floral.
Taste comprises lemon rind, elderflower, grass, grains, straw, lighter spice than the nose suggested.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close.
Great nose on this quaffable Elderflower number.

8th August 2017
GBBF Day 1. Cask. Light haze on this paleish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, modest carbonation. Smooth light sweetish malts. Nice floral mid with that elderflower fruity tang coming through. Little mellow orange peel adds depth. Light elderflower floral finish. Very easy quaffing and easily the best of the handful of elderflower beers at the festival.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2016 Cask at The White Hart, Bargate, Derbyshire, Friday 9th September 2016 in the company of Dad and Pauline. Pours gold with a very good clarity, just a small neat white head atop. Wonderful unmistakable floral elderflower nose, really top notch. Taste is fruity the elderflower is really the only kiddy in town here, refreshing light maltiness and hoppiness, nice straightforward does what it says on the tin. A8 A5 T7 P3 Ov14 3.7
