Cask, gravity at The Orchard Inn, Bristol 27.12.11 Hazy gold appearance with sweet flush of juicy apple initially but this then hardens and the dryness clings to the gums. Pleasant, tasty, fruity cider, nice appleyness, good cider. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4 downender (8584) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 5, 2011
On hand pump at the reopened Bag O’Nails, Bristol 5.12.12011. Deep, slightly hazy gold in colour, Chris O sums this one up well. It had plenty of apple fruit character with enough of rustic tinge to provide some character without becoming too tart. Dangerously drinkable for the ABV and a great advert for Devon cider. chriso (7533) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 19, 2011
From the barrel at Chelmsford Beer Festival on 15 July 2011. Hazy straw. Funky farmyard aroma. Plenty of apple character but it’s not too "clean" or sweet, so the cider retains an authentic farmhouse feel . Very firm mouthfeel with moderate tannins. Extremeley well balanced. Very satisfying indeed - challenging yet enjoyable.
