Sensei is a Triple IPA Double Dry Hopped & the BIG brother of Master of Karate! Sensei is fermented on our house yeast then hopped with Mosaic, Amarillo, & Galaxy. Notes of citrus, mango, pineapple, & pine with a creamy mouthfeel. Think candied oranges

On tap at Meridian Pint, pours a pulpy sunset orange with some sudsy, white head. Nose a lot of orange, juice, zest and pulp, tangerine, grass, some mango. Flavor has some malt, light vanilla, light oat notes, but really just an orange bomb, orange juice, pulpy Valencia orange, orange zest too. Finishes creamy, bitter.

On draft at Tap n Grind. Pours a cloudy golden orange color and topped by a small off white layer of foam that settles in slowly to a thin film and leaves streaks of lace around the glass. The aroma is nice and bursts with huge tropical fruit sweetness with notes of tangerine, mango, grapefruit, and pineapple with some sharp notes of resinous pine over a toasted bread and caramel malt base. As it warms you can smell the booze. The flavor follows suit and shows more of the tangerine, grapefruit, and mango citrus flavor along with a touch of resinous pine, booze, and some floral notes to go with a soft bitterness on the back end. Nearly full in body and very smooth with balanced carbonation that leads to a bitter sweet and juicy tropical fruit finish. Very tasty and very easy to drink despite the high alcohol content. Impressive double IPA here.

Draft at SG 2 Year Anniversary Party. Pours a hazy, bright gold with a finger of creamy foam that lingers. Very tropical fruit forward nose: mango, guava, grapefruit, banana...insane nose. Sweet on the palate, with some light booze and light bitterness. Very drinkable for the abv...dangerously so. Creamy and juicy mouthfeel. Smooth finish.

16oz can. Very juicy looking with a dull tropical amber color. Nose is very tropical, sort of a high end Hi-C, pineapple, grapefruit, citrus peel and an earthy pine. Medium body with firm creamy carbonation and just a subtle hint of the abv. Taste is tropical punch, hints of alcohol, orange peel, floral, pine and earthy bitterness. A well done triple. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16 oz. can. 12-7-17. Aroma is pine, grassy, and light marijuana. The malt bill makes this way sweet. Hops are nice but it also shows booze. Booze is not hidden at all. Some pine with spruce. Yeah, really borderline too sweet. Malt is already starting to over-right everything in this IPA.

Another thick NE IPA. black specs in the bottle that do bake this look different than other NE IPAs. smells like orange juice. Thick carb, not bubbly or refreshing. just thick smoothie. orange and grapefruit finish.

Birch and Barley, tap: pours hazy orange/yellow. Aroma is loads of citrus and pine. Not quite an NEIPA. Taste is fairly bitter. Sort of juicy. Good but not super impressed with my first foray into this brewer.
