3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2008 bottle with probably 4-6 months of age on it. The bottle is identical to the label pictured here however, the box has Premier Cru on it, so I’m not sure that the two arent one and the same. Anyhow, I was pleasantly surprised with this one, despite the obvious filtration and forced carbonation, it’s not overly fizzy (given some breathing) and has plentiful wild yeast character. The finish even ends with a nicely tart acidity that removes all the sweetness from the mouth. The aroma has notes of chardonnay and peaches, though white grape juice prevails lightly on the finish. Bits of doughiness and hay mark the opening flavor profile, which grows quite acidic as I mentioned, leading to a unripened nectarine/apricot fruitiness and vibrant green apple crispness. No alcohol noted. Very light in color. Clear. Moderately watery mouthfeel as the carbonation recedes.
500 ml bottle @home,bb 06/2019.
Pale straw, clear. White wine aroma, traces of rotten apple.
Taste of dry white wine, green apple. Average carbonation.

The Cru is false advertising trying to make it sound artisanal like a high end wine. Instead its a carbonated mess. Clearly added carbonation at that. The cider itself is fine. Overly sweet and fizzy for sure. But goes down easily and has just enough acidity to contrast the sweetness.
Not real cider but its okay. Rasmus40 (20739) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - JAN 27, 2017
Bottle from Beernavigator. Clear yellow without head. Aroma is dry apples and light sugary. Flavor is quite sweet and slightly acidic. Dry and slightly acidic finish. 270117 kajser27 (1806) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JAN 15, 2017
Clear, yellow colored, watery, no head. Aroma is of apple juice, tart apple. Taste is of apples, some apple juice, moderate tart, some apple peel, medium bitterness, very dry finish. Medium bodied, soft- carbonation. Itstasty (99) - East Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2016
Bottle. Aroma not good, bit of a rotten apple, farty smell. Light golden colour. In the mouth palate is balanced, light green apples, dry but not teeth shattering. Light carbonation. Ok flavour wise, but I’m guessing the ’Cru’ is just advertising nonsense.

Bottle. Yellow gold body. Apple, lime. Sour, some sweet notes. Dry finish. An English equivalent of Cava or champagne. sound67 (731) - Offenbach, GERMANY - SEP 14, 2016
Bottle, 500ml. *** Colour: Bright, pale yellow, clear, small head. ***
Nose: White wine, apples, lemon. ***
Mouthfeel: Medium body, hardly watery. Moderate carbonation. ***
Taste: Again a taste of semi-sour white wine (like Sauvignon Blanc), lemon, some apple peel. Lemon dominating the middle, with continued white wine notes. Semi-dry finish, again lemon, apple peel. The latter prominent in the medium-long aftertaste. ***
Impressions: Very elegant and wine-y cider, with apple fruitness in the back seat. Lively and refreshing, you won’t be able to tell that this is 7% ABV. Not too dry (the label says "full dry" - not so!). Those who like the fruity red apple taste in cider should, however, abstain. jaghana (6070) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - AUG 20, 2016
Bottle 33cl, a clear par yellow cider, nose is acid like with apple skin notes. Aroma is ow on apple juice, low body, acidity, astringency, very boring cider. ShivanDragon (4120) - Leeuwarden, NETHERLANDS - JUL 18, 2016
@some kind of pizza joint in Arundel, UK. Clear bright golden. Sparkling co2, smooth and very dry taste and aftertaste, fresh, little amount of apples in the flavor noticed,a bit simple, boring cider. However the pizza was great ! caesar (7156) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUN 5, 2016
Bottle @ Beerbecue at joes, small sample. Clear yellow color, short frothy head. Aroma of white wine, fruity, grapes, slight apple. More apple sweetness in taste, fruity, refreshing, soft carbo. Feels like a good fruity white wine, which is great on a hot summer day like this. Loved this one.
