aroma: faint brett, faint acetone, faint musty apples.
taste: brett funkiness up front without sharpness, musty apples in the middle and finish, with a champagne note coming through as well. it sounds odd, but i occasionally get a bit of european salami character in the immediate aftertaste.
Tiny bit sweet at first with mellow wine-like body (slightly boozy), oak finish. Some hints of port. Good as an aperitif. I would prefer the dry to accompany food. wlajwl (6750) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - FEB 22, 2014
Aroma is apples, a small hint of sweetness and a definite hint of dryness. The flavor is apples, slight mead overtones, fruit and a very dry finish. cheap (5798) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 30, 2014
UPDATED: AUG 31, 2014 Classy half liter bottle and I got this at Gorillos for only $1.50! Not sure where this goes but my bottle says Aspall English dry draft cider. It has the correct 6.8% tho. Very pleasant aroma. Clear very pale yellow. No bubbles. Taste is yummy sweet volatile treat. Hides alky too well. Decent co2 on the tongue. Very refined compared to my homemade stuff. Well done! Very enjoyable fer sure. Slick (1969) - Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA - DEC 29, 2003
Very nice golden color, small head that faded quickly leaving little behind.Nice apple aroma maybe sweet and maybe tart.I'm getting a little waft of each. The flavor was apple of course with a nice ripe apple sweetness to it,sweet as well but not overly so and just plain damn good. The alcohol doesn't really make an appearance at all. This is a much better cider then some of us Americans can make.I've found ours to be to sweet or to tart for my liking but this one manages to give it all in just the right amounts.Well done and well worth getting.

Clean golden colour, small head. Aroma is slightly sweet and appley. Flavour is clean and crisp apple, not too sweet. A very good apple cider. Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - AUG 10, 2004
The aroma is very farmyardy, dipaery, bretty - deep and delicious as if the apples were just turning toward overripe. The mouthfeel was crisp and dry and the flavor was of slightly cinnamoned, very sweet apples, quite ripe. Very good. brentfeesh (1208) - Mansfield, Ohio, USA - SEP 3, 2008
Bottle enjoyed at Le Cave Du Vin in Cleveland. Clear champagne like pour with plenty of carbonation to match. Funky apple barn notes under the apple cider dominance in the aroma. Cider barn pressings kept coming to mind. Plenty of clean apple flavors with a touch of hard alcohol. Cinnamon and and a very enjoyable level of sweetness. Quenching and warming. Jen and I both enjoyed this. SubstanceT (1092) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 28, 2004
This stuff is just PHAN-TASTIC. Clear light golden in colour with no head. THe nose is sweet with apples but not overpowering or gross. The taste is WOW apples and is slightly salty but not overpowering. THe body is dry but not nearly as dry as the Aspall Dry cider. Very good and easy to drink. flutetokill (523) - Fresno, California, USA - MAY 27, 2004
Clear pale yellow color with no head. Sour wine-like grape, vinegar, citrus and apple aroma. Nice apple and white wine flavor with a little citrus and a tart moderately dry finish. Very thin, crisp feel.
