The beer pours great with a solid dark amber color to it, a nice off white head, and good lacing on the glass. The beer smells outstanding with a great blend of sweet fruit (mango, peach, apricot, and pink grapefruit), definite simcoe hops and a mild maltiness. The beer tastes great with a soldi grapefruit hoppiness and a mild orange bitterness on the back end. The mouthfeel is great while the beer was well carbonated and the mouth is dry and mildly bitter. Overall, a solid fresh hopped beer with a great nose and taste. jrob21 (3690) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - OCT 18, 2011
The line for these guys was around the corner and never let up all day. They have somethign working marketing wise. I was hoping the beer was just as spectacular and was not disappointed with this offering. Although I was not waiting in that fucking line again to try another one of their brews. Dark orange pour with big ctrus aromas and flavors. A favorite hop varietal of mine so I’m going to enjoy this no matter who makes it. Luckily the base of the beer allows the hops to shine and has a requisite body and caramel maltiness to keep you feeling satisfied.
