Poured into a weizen glass.
3.25 A: Moderately hazed medium orange brownish color. Two fingers of pillowy white head. Retention is good, but it doesn’t stick well.
3.0 S: Wheat, clove spiciness, yeastiness. A touch of coriander and bitter lemon peel. It’s okay, but it could be a lot cleaner.
2.75 T: Again, wheat, clove, yeastiness. A bit more bitter than I’d like. Lemon peel, coriander. Could also be cleaner here.
2.75 M: Lighter medium body. Carbonation is a bit bity. Lacking creaminess big time.
2.75. D: Not the worst, but definitely not worth ever drinking again.

"also a little too lite all around for me. the requisite flavors and aromas are kinda there, but only under a microscope. like a hefe light. clove and light orange on the nose. slightly watery highly carbonated body is lacking, as is the flavor. ok, but not one i’ll return to." rumproasts (5356) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 13, 2014
bottle. golden with two finger head. this is so not to style it’s ridiculous. overly carbonated. very bland flavor with a bit of a bitter hop finish. no clove or banana or any other shred of hefeweizen flavor. SamP01 (668) - New Jersey, USA - NOV 18, 2013
A cloudy pale yellow pour with a medium lasting white head. Aroma and taste is of citrus, lemon, wheat, and some grass and fruity notes with mild bitterness on the finish for balance. Palate is a light body, crisp with good carbonation. This brew seems to be a bit on the bitter side for a Hefeweizen. Overall nothing really special here, an ok brew good for summertime drinking. This could have been a good beer, full of persimmon and hop aromas... until I realized they took a good wheat beer and watered it down to damn-near bud light quality. WTF SMDH FML.

Pours a clear, bubbly solar yellow with a very thick and rather persistent eggshell head. Malty, wheaty aroma has firm yeasty and subtle citrus notes. Flavor echoes the wheat, yeast and citrus notes of the aroma; and adds some hops. Texture is smooth, not too fizzy or firm, but still OK. No need to kiss @$$ - just enjoy. 12 ounce bottle. Pours a nearly murky orange color with a huge foamy white head. Average head retention. Aroma of wheat, perfume notes, earth, citrus. The taste is citrus, spice, wheat. Medium bodied, lingering spice, very dry. Ron (3955) - Rochester, New York, USA - JUL 19, 2013
Bottle. Pours straw colored and clocudy with an avg.white head, and a lot of carbonation. Nose is hops, citrus and fruity. Tastes medium in palate heft and complexity, with a good deal of fruit, but not as much of citrus, clovey spice, or funky yeasty department of a typical hefeweizen. Even after a long run in this muggy heat, this still did not taste as good as expected. .

Pours hazy golden with thick foamy white head and noticeable carbonation. Medium-strength grassy/musty aroma. Taste is similar, with a bit of coriander with an unpleasant astringent aftertaste. It’s been a while since I’ve had a hefewiezen. Frankly I could’ve gone a bit longer. wisdomsolo (466) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - JUL 2, 2013
First thing I noticed was the sour notes in the aroma. It pours a pretty amber. It has some spicy hoppy notes. Decent fullness in the palate. Overall it’s fairly meh.
