Hazy yellow colour, no head. Aroma is dry green apples along with some yeast, mild farmyardy notes as well as some vanillaish notes. Flavour is apples, wood, mild vanilla and some sweetness too. Still rather mouthdrying.
Bottled at SBWF. Hazy golden. Tart lemony nose. Dry, light and minerally. Spicy with notes of apple skin. Zesty and somewhat acidic. refreshing. bhensonb (15195) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 10, 2011
Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours hazy orange with a few chunks - I like chunks. Nice sour apple skin aroma. Fairly sour and definitely astringent. It is not sweet. It’s right in there with a good saison or farmhouse ale. Aftertaste is pretty much apple skin with a little cooked apple. Very good cider. Christian (13670) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 23, 2007
Pale yellow. Apple aroma with hints of vinegar and horseblanket. Dry and acidy flavour. Tart and pleasant to drink.

apple: skin, bitter, raw, green
apple: dry, green, raw
other: bright, zesty, acidic with good carbonation out of the bottle.
Bottle (barrel 10; bottled April 29, 2005) from Healthy Spirits. Typical Spanish Cider nasty looking sediment at the bottle. Poured at the usual height. A minimal white head with a lasting ring over a hazed golden body. Aromas of lambic like acidity, funk, a bit of rubber cement, barnyard, wood and a huge amount of acid. Some complex floral and estery notes. Flavors are very sour! Tons of acid, heartburningly so. Throat burn. Lemon, floral notes. Again a sort of rubber, industrial flavor that sort of detracts from the overall experience. Floral and horsey a bit of pineapple acidity. Like a good sour ale. Thin body though. Medium to light carbonation. blutt59 (6564) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 12, 2011
bottle, thanks to bu11zeye, pours like cloudy lemonade, aroma of diesel and vinegar, has a flavor salty black olives and lemon peel, nice cider Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 25, 2007

Comments: A pretty good example of a Basque sidra with juicy tartness, firm tannins and dry, sour palate.
