Poured from a 12 OZ. bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is an light brown-copper color with a small white head. The aroma is a light malt and grass smell. The taste is mostly sweet malt. An excellent bock beer.

Fine dark Beer. Not to dark but really rich and malty in taste. Seems like a seasonal beer - sadly ;)

330 ml bottle. A bit of a roasty stink, but tastes really good. Smokey caramel.

Koelschtrinker (21371) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - NOV 16, 2012
Leichte Herbe, nussig, in geringem Maße würzig. Eher trockenes Finish mit weiterhin gelungener Röstigkeit. 10/11/10/12/12/12 8

Leicht säuerlicher Geruch, beim Antrunk kommen Röstaromen durch. Bitter im Abgang, kaum Aromen. Könnte aromareicher sein, wenn wärmer.

This stuff is better than suffering the through the end of days. It is an amber colored lager w/ a small white head of fine bubbles. It has a good bit of earthy hops that are balanced by caramel malts. It’s not too sweet but pretty full bodied w/ vigorous carbonation. It struck me as pretty boring at first but seems to develop a bit as you drink it w/ the hops taking on a more lively floral character. It finishes dry w/ firm bitterness. This is overall a pretty damn decent beer, no off flavors and a balance of hops and malt. I like it.
