Pours a hazy amber with a white head and aroma of malt and grains. Taste is sweet, of grains, malt, fruits, and caramel, watery, with a thin mouthful.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2012 A typical amber ale. Nice and refreshing, nothing really too special. I just have too complex of a palate. Tasted at Michael’s Genuine in Miami.

On tap at Taco Mac. Pours copper with a thin beige head. The aroma is bread, caramel, and faint hops. The flavor is subdued sweetness and a little bitterness. The palate is medium, smooth, and uneventful. Overall, this is a very uninteresting beer.

TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - APR 3, 2012
Bottle. Drank from bottle, well about a third of it. Was hoping for a fairly fresh hoppy amber but this turned out to be fairly grainy and watery. Oh well.

Oakes (17664) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 5, 2012
Draught. Medium amber with nice foam. Mellow caramel notes. Easy caramel palate with a hint of toastiness and hop earthiness. Finishes a bit watery though.

Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 4, 2012
Draft at zekes. Medium amber, pretty tight head. The aroma is clean and balanced and has a nice fresh wort character. The body is light and so it's very drinkable. But also thin. Other than that, the malt flavors are nice and it's not sweet at all without being hoppy, it's basically crisp and clean ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle… Lightly hazed amber ale with a mountainous, frothy, white head. Great retention. It took me a full ten minutes to pour this into my glass without the head breaching the top of my glass – not a good sign. The aroma provided caramel, biscuit and a moderately woody, acidic funk – a suggestion of key lime peel. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. Based on the flavor and the size of the head, there’s definitely an infection taking root, but it doesn’t create an offensive beer. The mild tartness actually adds some character and interest to an otherwise bland, boring example of a bland, boring style. Finishes tangy and lightly sweet.
