Draft served as Red Brick Laughing Skull: Weak cherry nose. Clear amber, medium yellow head. Weak malt flavor, nothing fruity. Thin, watery mouthfeel. Alcohol slightly noticeable, which isn’t surprising since there is little to hide it. Weak. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 10, 2011
Draught. Pours mahogany with a white head. Smells of light caramel, some earthy hints. Tastes rosey and watery with a thin, caramel finish. tennessejed420 (940) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 22, 2011
draft. Pours a dark, brownish read with creamy, almost nitrogen like tan head. Medium bodied, low in carbonation, almost drinks like a bitter. Aroma is earthy with caramel, flavor is the same, notes of soil, toast, nuts, and caramel. Overall not too shabby. coolpop (1394) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - JUL 20, 2011
Draft. Poured light amber with a smallish white head. Aroma and flavor were mild, some bready malt, some citrusy, grassy hops. LIttle bit o’ honey, perhaps. Nice and drinkable.

Draft @ Mellow Mushroom, Auburn,AL. Pours a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty hoppy caramel finish. MrBunn (2826) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 29, 2011
Cool label on the bottle, but this is an amber ale. Pours a light amber color with little head and grainy aromas. Flavor is similar... a kind of uninteresting amber ale with caramel malts and mild hops... kinda sweet... kinda sticky... kinda meh... Cybercat (5828) - Georgia, USA - MAY 28, 2011
Pours a beautiful clear amber with a thick, yellowish, light tan head that sticks around - very appealing for any beer, and superior to nearly all amber ales. Aroma is crisp and malty with fruity and hoppy underpinnings. Pleasing flavor is mainly malty and has hints of fruit - mainly apple - and hops, with just a touch of bitterness. Texture is quite fizzy and lively. This is one of the best amber ales I’ve ever had. I have downed this before, but didn’t realize how good it is - maybe because previously I’ve had it only from a bottle.
