Bottle. Dark amber body with light tan head. Aroma is light roasted malts with vanilla and caramel and hints of nuts. Taste is malty sweet with roasted nuts and some vanilla. Aftertaste is malty with hints of hops. O.K. kajser27 (1785) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 28, 2015
Reddish to brown colored, small to moderate beige head. Aroma is of caramel, some candylike fruits and bit of chocolate and roasted notes. Taste is low to medium sweet caramel, more chocolate than roasted, some fruits, low to medium bitterness. Low to medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Aroma is not worth mentioning while the flavor leaves a better impression but overall nothing special. fiulijn (20372) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 6, 2015
Draught at Vancouver Craft Beer Week 2015chinchill (4909) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 2, 2015
It’s a dark shade of amber, with compact head. Strong aroma and flavor of cereals, also some maple syrup and nuts, with low bitterness, and a hint of flowery elegance.
On tap at the brewery.
Crystal clear orange-amber body, with a fine, bone-colored head. Decent lacing is left on the glass.
Nice medium roasted malt aroma with suggestions of toasted bread and faint caramel.
Medium body with good carbonation.
Flavor: a bit more flavor than average for style. About equally bitter and sweet. Iznogud (3710) - CROATIA - JUN 22, 2015

On tap at VCBW Festival, pours a deep dark amber with a small white head. Nose and flavour of toasted malt, some toasted caramel, and a decent hop component. Well-balanced between the malts and hops. Solid amber. Strykzone (7300) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - MAY 8, 2015
12 ounce bottle from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. This beer is clear amber brown and has just a little beige head. The aroma is rich and malty with some nice fruit behind that. The fruit is almost candy. I taste fruity caramel which must mean those two blend well here. A little cinnamon. Mid glass I noted just a little grapefruit bitterness and a tiny bit of chocolate just before that. This beer keeps surprising. Now I am tasting some brown sugar. As fun as the middle of the glass was, the finish was more mundane. There is not usually a lot of excitement in an Amber ale but this one was fun. It offered some nice surprises. hayduke (5187) - Eureka, California, USA - MAY 8, 2015
Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Pours amber with an off-white head. Nose of light roasted caramel malts with some light fruit. Medium body. Flavor is malty with some floral hops and the fruit is still there. The finish shows some cinnamon spice and some citrus hops sneak in. Nothing fancy here but quite drinkable. Bottle @ home. Best before August 2015. Pretty hazy dark amber color, huge white to off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, sweet, jam. Taste lightly malts, slightly caramel, sweetish, jam, a hint of red fruit. Average body, slightly fizzy carbonation.
