12 ounce bottle from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. This beer is clear amber brown and has just a little beige head. The aroma is rich and malty with some nice fruit behind that. The fruit is almost candy. I taste fruity caramel which must mean those two blend well here. A little cinnamon. Mid glass I noted just a little grapefruit bitterness and a tiny bit of chocolate just before that. This beer keeps surprising. Now I am tasting some brown sugar. As fun as the middle of the glass was, the finish was more mundane. There is not usually a lot of excitement in an Amber ale but this one was fun. It offered some nice surprises. hayduke (5677) - Eureka, California, USA - MAY 8, 2015
Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Pours amber with an off-white head. Nose of light roasted caramel malts with some light fruit. Medium body. Flavor is malty with some floral hops and the fruit is still there. The finish shows some cinnamon spice and some citrus hops sneak in. Nothing fancy here but quite drinkable. Bottle @ home. Best before August 2015. Pretty hazy dark amber color, huge white to off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, sweet, jam. Taste lightly malts, slightly caramel, sweetish, jam, a hint of red fruit. Average body, slightly fizzy carbonation. thedm (6319) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAY 1, 2015
This draft brew from a beer bar poured a head of white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a uncarbonated transparent brown orange colored body and a spiderweb lacing. The weak aroma was jelly bean malty and Irish Red malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium caramel hop aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of semi-sweet mild caramel mild hops and bread dough. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again. Borresteijn (7491) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - APR 28, 2015
35cl Bottle from drankgigant.nl. Hazy brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of forest fruits, oxidization, old malts, roosvicee. Flavour is sweet, forest fruits, roosvicee, old malts, light earthy hop presence left, bittersweet finish. Also turned out to be over a year old. That’s what you get when you order online I guess.

Całkiem przyjemne i pijalne. Alengrin (5722) - BELGIUM - MAR 22, 2015
New version of a beer that already existed before, apparently. Beautifully warm, deep copper colour, somewhere between orange and red, with some dead yeast bit floating around; medium, yellowish light beige, moussy head retaining well. Pleasant floral aroma of dried orange peel, tulips, pink grapefruit, sundried tomato, hazelnut oil, bourbon without the alcohol, biscuit, caramel, bell pepper, dry cookies, Parmigiano, persimmon, paprika powder, minerals. Taste begins fairly neutral, some dried fruits, restrainedly sweetish, minerally, medium carbonation, subtle sourish accent, nutty malt sweetness reminiscent of an Altbier, leading to a medium long finish of earthy and floral, only slightly citrussy hop bitterness; body is on the thin side even for a beer of this ABV. Still, a decent and refreshing session beer, I could drink this all day. DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 14, 2015
12oz can, purchased 2/23/15 from Habersham in Savannah. Pours a hazy amber brown color. Finger of off-white head. Good retention. Good ridge of lace. Nice toasty aroma up front, biscuity, some mild earthy hop. Medium body, with a good full mouthfeel. Smooth, mildly soft lighter carbonation, kind of creamy, mildly slick texture. Nice moderate-plus bitter taste, good bit more earthy hop than expected, as well as a great toasty malt character, hint of chocolate in there, mildly spicy. Just a touch of dark fruit. Lighter to moderate sweet taste. Awesome amber ale overall, much better than expected. Good to enjoy with my sandwich. b3shine (9145) - Indiana, USA - MAR 4, 2015
Bottle to half-pint glass (shared by DrSilverworm). Looks solid; a hazy amberish brown with thin eggshell head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells and tastes of caramel and a bit of toast with a fairly clean medium-bodied mouthfeel. Not bad, but forgettable. LuckyDog (615) - - MAR 3, 2015
Not a great style. Not a great beer. A little bit earthy. Fairly bland. Not one I need again.
