COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light fruit ale, made with Maine wild blueberries. As opposed to many of the sweeter fruit beers on the market, our addition of fresh Maine wild blueberries in this light ale yields a subtle blueberry aroma, without the sweet aftertaste. A mixture of the following Mutton malts, pale, crystal, and Munich, are combined with wheat to give this ale its lighter body, and we only use minimal amounts of Target and Willamette hops.

For a fruit flavored ale, I was very disapppointed, The blueberry aroma is definitely there, but the blueberry taste, tastes of crappy kids cereal. The mouthfeel of this beer wasn’t right in my opinion either.

Originally rated on 12/17/08. I was a little leary at first but this wasnt too bad. Aroma of blueberries (of course. Average body yellow/ ambersih, not much carbonation, very little lace. Flavor of blueberry, a little hops and some malts. Not bad and worth a try, i dont know if i would want to drink several of these in a row however.

This blueberry ale poured a nice amber colour with very little head. Minimal lacing. Scents include club soda, blueberry jam and a little cereal. First swig was a little thin with light blueberry flavour and some old basement flavours? Finish is a little stale with a little hop flavour lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Bull Feeneys. Pours dark golden with a thin white head. Doesn't leave much lacing. Has some fruit notes on the nose. Fairly tart on the tongue which has got to be the blueberry. Dry on the tongue which highlights the berry well. Finished clean. Solid beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light blueberry flabor while not being too sweet. Nice light summer beer. Not bad for a fruit beer.

On tap at the West Street Cafe in Bar Harbor, Maine. Copper color with no head, just a thin lace. Aromas of blueberry and breadiness. Blueberry flavor, but it’s not overpowering. Breadiness, slight citrus notes, earthy hops. Substantial carbonation gives it a fizzy mouthfeel. Not bad, but not a terribly interesting beer.

Today I am cold as I visit state of many tree, moose and lobster. I stop at brewpub in hope of meeting sexy lady for dance party. I select this beer from menu b’coz I am told of glorious local blueberries and also it seem like nice beer to drink several for buzz. I like scent and also nice flavour of crisp and refresh.

Bottle. It poured an amber color with a beige head. The aroma was of malts and blueberries. The taste was similar to the aroma with more blueberries. It was a little watery, still decent.

A very pleasing fruit beer. Starts with an average lighter ale and is enhanced by blueberry nose and flavor. Not very sweet, just right. Fun beer.

Quite possibly my favorite blueberry beer ever. Light enough blueberry presence that it isn’t like drinking a pie - still tastes like a decent ale, just with a hint of blueberry flavor. It has a lovely fresh aroma. Very nice!

Pours clear copper with low yellow head. Aroma of blueberries, light malt, citrus. Taste is blueberry sweet with a fairly abrupt finish. Light, smooth body with soft carbonation.
