On draft at Bunker's Wharf, Winter Harbor. Pours dark brown with substantial 2 finger creamy head and great lacing... Smells of bread and yeast. Roasted nuts and caramel notes... Not bad...

On tap in the brewery’s tasting room. Pours a clear brown with a thin white to beige head. Nutty malt, toast. Easy drinking, toasty, soft malt. Dries out into a soft bitterness. BrettTaylor (784) - Radford, Virginia, USA - JUL 1, 2013
Poured as a taster at the brewery. Nice brown ale with a bit of caramel on the palate. Finishes smooth and if quite drinkable. A good session ale and bound to be good with brewpub-style food. BeerandBlues2 (14027) - Escondido, California, USA - JUN 25, 2013
Bottle at home. Pours clear brown with a medium, frothy light tan head, medium-short retention with good lacing. Aroma is caramel, chocolate, and lightly toasted malt, earthy hops and figs. Flavor is malt dominant with light to medium hops and bitterness, a pleasant chocolate note and a dry finish. Medium-light body and medium carbonation.

Enjoyed on tap at Reel Cinema in Bar Harbor, ME while watching the new Star Trek. Appearance dark coffee brown with very thin off white head. Aroma not really of anything, maybe light toffee. Taste is smooth and easy drinking, nice English ale flavor. Overall, enjoyable brew. hfmejias (1297) - Marshall, Minnesota, USA - MAR 30, 2013
12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured dark brown with tons of tan head, lots of lacing and nice carbonation. Aroma of nuts, roasted malts and caramel. When it comes to taste it actually feels a bit to watery, caramel sweetness and malts. It’s an OK beer but not great. jmm635 (1017) - Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 19, 2013
Medium brown and clear with a thin beige head. Aroma of caramel malts, roasted nuts, hint of coffee. Roasty flavor but very thin. Hop presence is late but pretty strong when it hits. BrewBoxer (2667) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 10, 2013
