355 mL can from Cheryl (Panama vacation), served almost cold in a tulip glass. AP19/07.ghawener (1615) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - JAN 28, 2007
App.: Light straw, clear, largish white head.
Aroma: Surprised by herbaceous, peppery hops – not intense, but pleasant; funky wet grain/cereal after that; light sulphur notes.
Palate: Medium-light body and fairly lively carbonation.
Flav.: TONS of cardboard, light saltine cracker; a little corn-based breakfast cereal on swallowing, nothing on the aftertaste.
Badly oxidized – a shame.
Bottle: Thanks to Rafa. Light body with lots of fizziness. Taste is plain but not offensive, average. Quillaraymi (89) - USA - MAR 27, 2006
It isn’t that bad if you drink it REALLY cold. Panama doesn’t have the right weather for good beer. But I have to accept that is refreshing ...like water. fiulijn (21526) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 10, 2006

Pale color. Very light malt aroma. Weak mouthfeel, watery flavor, no malt, just the correct bitterness. Useless.
UPDATED: AUG 15, 2006 Wow, corn city. It says on the can that it has barley and hops...I doubt it. It is about 35 cents a can. But usually I can only finish about a third of a can before it warms up too much. Even with a whole lime squeezed-in it is very bad.

Well in Panama this is the most popular beer because is the cheaper and you can find it anywhere....but for the people that taste other beers this beer is like drinking water whit malt... Nekronos (4248) - Xalapa, MEXICO - AUG 7, 2005
UPDATED: FEB 3, 2006 Well, not bad, it has a corny backtaste that I likd, but for a lagr, it is only mdium refreshing. jeggersdvm (12) - Weilerbach, GERMANY - JUL 1, 2005
Quite possibly the worst beer ever. If I had to compare to anything in the US I would say PBR me ASAP. But this is still PBR without the appeal. ElGaucho (2401) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - JUN 29, 2005
Bottle. Less aroma than Soberana. Clear pale gold body with some visible carbonation. Small, white head; mostly diminishing. Somehow this is bettter than Soberana but doesn’t score as well. No worse than Presidente (Dominican). Similarly, this brew would probably be enhanced with a wedge of lime. Very little flavor. WISEGUY572 (1377) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 27, 2005
Budwieser anyone? No real taste, no real mouthfeel. Would have given it a higher rating if it had cost me $0.20 or had come with Pringles, but for $3.50 I expected a beer I could taste. Inoffensive but uninteresting.
