On tap, poured into a 5oz tulip sampler glass. The aroma is mostly tropical bubblegum (fruit stripes for sure) with a touch of soap and herbs. It pours a light hazy yellow-gold with a frothy, white head that dissipates down to an oily surface, with a very very thin ring, but it leaves behind lots of sheet-like micro lace. The taste is a medium/ medium high bitter with a medium / medium-light sweet. The thin textured, medium light body has lots of fuzzy carbonation. There’s a definitive resin bitter bite along with some grass and bubblegum. It finishes with a clean grapefruit and resin dryness which lingers - mostly waxy resin. kaser (6382) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 7, 2014
Draft pour at first draft Chicago. Golden with white head. Spicy fruity and pepper taste. Light body. Not bad. Liking these farmhouse ales commonmac (1339) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 2, 2014
Tap at First Draft in Chicago. Light golden appearance with minimal head. Taste is a little subdued but really pleasant. Extremely easy to drink with the standard farmhouse characteristics. Spicy notes with a little bit of hop/floral to it as well. A solid, if unspectacular option. crossovert (13909) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 19, 2013
On draft as "Atlas saison". Smell is pure tropical fruitiness. The taste is totally different: super dry and lemony with some spices. They don’t really work that well together but both components are nice.
