COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Ungstrup (37222) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 8, 2010
Bottled. A hazy red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of vanilla. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry finish. The mouthfeel is thin and carbonated. Sorry, I’d not choose to drink this with my Christmas dinner.

garza (573) - Oslo (NO), Caracas (VE), VENEZUELA - NOV 30, 2010
Pours dark amber colour with a fainting white head. Aroma of spices, malts and some caramel and yeast. Light sweetness, lightly bitter, and some malty taste but overall: watery and lack with of flavour. Light body, oily feel, soft carbonation, short finish. Could be better.

ClubGonzo (5668) - Bergen, NORWAY - NOV 15, 2010
Bottle from Lerøy Mat, Bergen. Pours a dark nutty brown body with a creamy white head, disappearing rather quickly. Nose is roasty caramel tones with hints of toffee, dark malts, dark chocolate and nougat. Taste is also unusual for a dunkel, perhaps because of the American-style hop influence. Sweet malty tones intermingle with chocolate, nuts and toffee. Light bodied. Somewhat strange, and the chocolate/nut elements kinda bounce off each other rather than dancing along, but otherwise this is a pretty good beer - at least considering the adaptation to the ever-haunting Norwegian 4,75 % ABV limit in regular grocery stores.
