Birthday beer from sam in bottle. Malty with light hop; good balance. Bitterness... not. Good beer will have it again.

Average IPA in all aspects. Does finish with appropriate bitterness. Clear golden color---not burnt orange. rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 10, 2017
bottle. Amber with one finger head. Medium malt body, citrus hops. Generic take on an IPA. No flaws, but nothing unique here whatsoever. Average, which makes it well aboverage for an Atwater offering. Cybercat (6343) - Georgia, USA - JUL 21, 2017
Taps clear copper with a nice buff head. Aroma offers fresh malt and hoppy tones with a fruity underpinning. Flavor delivers pleasing evergreen hops, fresh malt, and zesty citrus. Mouthfeel features good body and peppy fizz plus a hoppy finish. Make a good choice and drink this - but please do so responsibly. aracauna (3710) - Georgia, USA - JUL 7, 2017
On tap at the Taco Mac McDonough location. Nice beer. Kind of old school when IPAs were often harsher in bitterness instead of mostly aromatics.

Pours gold and clear with a finger of off-white head. Aroma is somewhat faint but noticeable piney citrus hops. Flavor is smooth and sweet with a light sappy feel and some residual bitter character.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 3/16/2017. Pours crystal clear medium orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus peel/grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing though the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balance mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is a delicious IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/dryness finish. Great juicy hop vibrancy and nice malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. A really enjoyable offering, and very classic tasting IPA.
