Pours dark brown with little to no head. Grainy aroma and flavor. Not much in the way of bourbon flavor. Not great.

Bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear, very dark ruby brown, beige head, wide lace strips. Taste is malt that includes an odd bourbon overtone. Maybe a little oak as well. Not a good match at all. Seems high alcohol. Not recommended.

Tainted bottle. Definite sourness that is not even remotely correct. Guess I won’t get another since this was a single I found.

Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 11, 2015
Bottled. Poured medium-deep brown with a nice toasted beige head. The aroma picked up sweet nutty and black malts with light vanilla and bourbon accenting. The flavor found weird sour malts (not super offensive, but I don’t believe it was intentionally sour), with moderate roast.. not a whole lot of barrel presence here. Medium-bodied at most on the palate, and again weirdly sour.. not so good.

Good not great. Near black pour with light tan head. Aroma is smoky roasted malt. Tate follows nose.

Bottle. Dark brown almost black. Really small tan head. Aroma was chocolate, coffee and molasses.taste was sweet up front, with a nice malty finish with hints of coffee, chocolate, roasted grains and nuts.

trapped (3251) - New York, TURKEY - SEP 18, 2015
Bottle. Pours dark brown with reddish tint, large spongy beige head, caramel aroma, medium carbonation, roasted malt taste with strong alcohol undertones, medium roasted bitter finish with alcohol aftertaste. The alcohol taste is dominant although not really high in ABV.

BVery (10609) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - APR 12, 2015
Bottle. Dark pour with a beige head. Cheap bourbon aroma - almost smells like a cleaning agent as well. Palate is a bit thin. Lower flavor.

firstsip (733) - Michigan, USA - MAR 14, 2015
Bottled. Aged 3+ years. Dark brown. Really nice brown head. Sweet, coffee-ish nose. Smooth body. Notes of coffee, chocolate, the mildest of malty notes.

Petkus331 (389) - Redford, Michigan, USA - MAR 14, 2015
Bottle, aged from September 2011 bottling. Aroma of caramel, toffee, sweet milk chocolate. Appears dark brown, flat, minor foam. Tastes a lot like coffee, lingering coffee. Somewhat fizzy texture. Overall, nice but simple.

alobar (3833) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 6, 2015
Pours cola brown with a beige head. Aroma of vanilla, roasted malt, chocolate, and bourbon. Vanilla, chocolate, toffee flavor with roasted malt. Easy drinker. Nice beer.
