Holding true to the Northern English tradition, the Decadent Dark Chocolate Ale has at its foundation a nutty profile with a round mouthfeel. added is a Chocolate Extract consisting of three blended chocolates of varied depth. The result is a rich, but not overtly sweet, experience for both the beer and the chocolate enthusiast.

Aroma is very malty with a pleasant but maybe fake chocolate/vanilla smell. Pours gorgeous with a large head that lasts a little while (but not long enough to leave lacing). Flavor surprisingly lacks much. Very watery and a little bitter at first, with notes of coffee, chocolate, and whipped cream on the back end. Aftertaste is actually much better than the initial flavor. Brew is too thin - they should thicken it up and increase the flavor a bit. This has so much potential but falls short.

Dark chocolate in color with a small fast fading head that smells strong with chocolate. Taste is chocolate candy and it goes well with ice cream and other desert items that beer normally will not. Thin body, was expecting it to be thicker and more decadent.

Instant Hershey chocolate smell right from the start. The taste of chocolate is definitely there, way beyond a hint of chocolate. Almost too much chocolate. Overall not bad, but if you don’t like chocolate, skip this one.

Dark brown color with tan foam. Big Hershey chocolate syrup, vanilla aromas. Dark chocolate syrup, black malt, vanilla, cola flavors____light bodied---decent.

It's very smooth...due to the nitro obviously. It has a chocolate coffeeness to it, that is quick on the acidity and fades to a weak coffee. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The aroma is this beer is untouchable. The dark chocolate flavor is very rich and smooth for an unbelievably crisp taste. Would definitely drink again ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer is nice and smooth with the nitro pour. It’s burnt, really burnt, but not roasted. Mostly chocolate notes. It almost tastes like you roasted chocolate. It’s interesting.
