Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Pale yellow brew with two fingers of white head. Light aroma - a little grain, that’s about it. Taste is light and inoffensive - a little sweet grain at the start and a little astringency in the finish. I don’t pick up much wheat, corriander, or orange peel - maybe a little citrus if I seek it out.. Just a clean light brew - no negatives at all in the taste but lacking in zest. On par with mainstream commercial lagers, overall, though maybe with a little less character.

The aroma is watery and weak with hints of malt, spice, and funk. The appearance is pale gold with a small head that fades fast. The taste is like the aroma with a nasty metallic taste up front followed by a nice wheat and spice finish. The palate is thin. Overall a dirty beer.

The foam that is created after every sip, it’s quite interesting. The rest of the beer is slightly bland and mildly sour. A touch of grapefruit flavor. Very interesting but not exquisite.

Not very wheaty. Some light grape notes, some vanilla, some, I dunno, some sea water, but in a good way, I suppose. Clean crisp finish. Meh...

WTF is this beer. A golden color with a white head. Aorma is brown sugar, citrus, and death. The flavor is like cheap homebrew version of citrus and yams. This sucks really

Bottle: This was not a good beer. Aroma of wheat, but not good wheat. I will not drink this again.

GnarlyGnome (770) - Fairfield, Ohio, USA - MAY 17, 2011
UPDATED: AUG 15, 2011 Bottle: poured a nice, slightly hazy, orange color with a small, white head. Smell...orange hits me right up front with a few spices mixed in. The orange becomes apparent at the start of the taste as well, and are followed up by a mildly bitter coriander taste. The aftertaste is almost a coating of the orange flavors which slowly fade away. I thoroughly enjoyed this, and would do so even more on a hot summer day.

Aroma of orange and spices. Light but crisp, the citrus and spice flavors are at the forefront. Lightly malty. Not bad, but not outstanding.

Volgon (2763) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 5, 2011
Bottle: Pours a clear light straw color with a thin white head, grass and oranges in the aroma, watery bodied with ample carbonation, starts and ends lightly bitter.

Light, sweet, wheaty. Thin and a tad oily. It’s not bad, but not great. Sweet, but cloying and a bit insubstantial.
