Finhead (1815) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - JUN 2, 2014
Clear, pale yellow with a white head. The aroma is herbal with some coriander. It has a light, thin body with lively carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet with a quick finish. garrison (812) - Cin. city, Ohio, USA - MAY 31, 2014
Purchased from the Westwood Krogers on Ferguson Road in Cincinnati, Ohio - Alright, this one poured out a bronze hued brew with a faint grassy aroma and small, rapidly fading white head. Tastewise, this one has a weak, grainy flavor with a watery balance. This is NOT a good beer. degbert (1776) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAY 27, 2014
Can. Pours a hazy yellow with a high, fluffy, lacy, fine-grained white head. Nose is orange, medicinal, and stale spice cabinet. Sweet -- I mean, REALLY sweet -- with a flat, hollow, and empty middle of the palate. No real grain or depth to speak of, just that same ephemeral sweetness; it’s like cheap candy. Finish is non-existent. If this is a dirty blonde, then given its lack of substance it must be Paris Hilton. ads135 (5031) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - MAY 27, 2014
Bland and unremarkable. Some stale cardboardy wheat aromas, light citrus, and a lot of water. Tried with Jess, Mark, and Matt at the DC brewfest in 2014. b3shine (9150) - Indiana, USA - MAY 2, 2014
Can to pint. Looks subpar; a hazy pineapple with some kind of dark floaties in it. Foamy white head. Smells of oranges, coriander, and wheat. Tastes like it smells, but more coriander. Average (at best) on the palate. Not awful, but not good either.

A good beer but not a ton of flavor coming through. Has some citrus notes like lemon and orange Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - MAR 28, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a clear yellow body with a one finger white foamy head that concaves a bit and softly clings to the edges, nice lookin’ filmy head of a valley appears after a minute. Some carbonation is seen rising.
The smell was a light citrus, lil’ bit of bubblegum but really subdued, light wheat.
The taste took all of the previously mentioned flavors combined nicely, sweet sticky aftertaste and finish.
The palate was light and sessionable. Carbonation seems a bit under-carbonated for the style but actually I think I’m starting to like my APWA’s this way, becomes a bit smooth and creamy.
Overall, actually, I think I like this one, it would be great on a hot summer day, despite the other reviews on this one, I say give it a try. There’s a nice refreshing quality to this beer and probably doesn’t have enough hops for the hopheads to go crazy about, but hey, its an APWA, whaddaya expect. Had on-tap at Boat Works in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.
I got this after the keg of the beer I did want blew. I didn’t exactly want it, but I hadn’t had it, so why not try it. Dirty Blond has an orange juice sort of color with a lot of haze. Nice little head on top of it. Decent lacing. It looks pretty good. The smell and taste are almost the same, but the smell is a bit better. This tastes like I imagine a combination of Bud Light and orange juice might. This has a sort of flavor that doesn’t shout "QUALITY"... it tastes somewhat cheap. But, it’s inoffensive and easy drinking. The mouthfeel is quite nice on this brew, which is good, because I’d not recommend this beer if it weren’t for that.
The main problem I have with this beer, as stated, is that it tastes cheap. There’s not much of a hop presence at all. I taste sorts of corn and cheap grains and such. Not bad, not particularly good. This would be a fine option for people trying to step into craft beer, as it’s inoffensive, tastes like it could be a Shock Top sort of creation, and there’s virtually no bitterness. hawanna (3366) - Freising, GERMANY - MAR 13, 2014
