Pours soft amber gold with two fingers of sticky offwhite head. So this beer is more disappointing than it is offensive. Very light aroma, grassy with some hay and citrus zest. Slightly metallic flavor, mostly just subdued. Warmth does it no good. GlassBrass440 (321) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 27, 2011
Some light earthy hops and sweet corn in the nose. A touch of caramel. Shaving cream foam sits on top of a crystal clear light amber sea of beer. Head lingers for a long time, lifted by the constant bubbles from beneath. Taste is light with little hop flavor. I get mostly bready malts and some undefined fruitiness. Bitterness is a bit overpowering with no flavor backbone. Seems to be bitter for the sake of being bitter. Light bodied and goes down smooth. Overall it’s not that great of an IPA but good for watching a ballgame. This paired well with the spicy burrito I had for dinner. Something to complement the food without getting in the way. Apricot with a half inch of white head. Aroma and taste are lightly hoppy, with a spritz of lemon. This is light and refreshing... A lawnmower IPA. Silphium (3198) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - OCT 14, 2011
Can. Slightly hazy medium orange body, thick puffy off-white head. Grassy, spicy, leafy nose with biscuity malts. Weird body starts with a quick dose of watery tanginess before grassy, leafy bitter hops establish dominance. Very light toasty malts do little to carry the hops. An acidic, tangy, bitter and limp beer that showcases hops but does little to actually incorporate them into a coherent drink. demitriustown (1192) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - SEP 17, 2011
12 oz can: Appearance is a clear golden with a ver thick white head that lingers. Aroma has got a nice grassy and floral hop aroma, nicely pungent hop texture. Taste has a nice hop textur, somewhat resinous, sticky, grassy, and herbatious. More of a cereal, bread note from the malts but mostly hops in this one. Overall, It’s a nice hoppy season beer that is pretty good.

Pour from a 12 oz can - siz pack from Gil’s Market in Cooper Township. Clear amber brew with frothy white head. Moderately hoppy aroma - grass, pine, citrus. Taste is a bit weak at the very start of the swallow followed by nice maltiness towards the middle with a decent bitter hops finish. Very tasty and quaffable. Rather light bodied with an average palate. milewide (2320) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - SEP 1, 2011
One of the brews that you enjoy more after you have swolled, than before. Gold amber color, clear, with light head. Modest grain aroma and taste, but lingering hop bitterness is this ale’s strong suit. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - AUG 30, 2011
Bottle: The aroma is moderately grassy and also has some faint grain, floral, and pine notes. It pours a transparent gold with a three finger white head that has decent retention and leaves behind some spotty lacing. The flavor starts with quick dose of sweet grain/cereal notes. The finish is moderately grassy along with light-moderate pine and light floral notes. Light-medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. Overall, it comes across as a blend between an IPA and a hoppy Pilsner.
