COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in strict German tradition, Purple Gang Pilsner is a steady reminder of the German domination of brewing before and during Prohibition. A light malty sweetness yields to the fine flavor and aroma of the noble Tettnang hops.

Smells of sweet citrus. Flavors of lemon, light grains and a little bit of floral hops. Very light feel. Slightly sour aftertaste.

12oz bottle in a footed pilsner. Pours light golden with a fluffy, white head. Aroma of pale malts and some floral hops. Flavor the same with a good amount of hops for this style, but a little bit of tin on the aftertaste. Average to light texture. A decent beer for the style.

The brew pours a cloudy gold with a small white head that leaves some lacing. The aroma is grape and grain. The flavor pretty much follows suite. The beer is rather crisp which is the most enjoyable part. This would be a decent beer during the summer months, but not overall impressive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Light crispy palate. Lagerish pale malt. Seltzer mineras. Reasonable noble like hops, a little grapefruit. Malt turns slightly creamy. An all right pils.

Pours hazy, lemon-gold with a huge white head. Aroma is sweet grain, lemon. Taste is slightly bitter lemon....yet..sugary tones on the lips.... Actually pretty tasty. Soft and mild. Decent stuff.

bottle courtesy of Rizy, sweet bland hopless drinkable harmless pilsner. Wow, never had one of these before

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a hazy light yellow with a thin white head and bubbles through out, aroma has a little bit of grain and some lemon zest, interesting, the flavor has a little bit of must on the front end that is kind of yeasty, a little bit of fruit in the finish with some grain and bread, pretty straight forward, not bad.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a lightly cloudy gold with about a finger of white head. Aroma of grain and hops. Taste is light bitter. Hops with some light grain. Light bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, not bad. I would drink this again.

Aroma is malts with a hint of grit. The flavor is sweetish malts, a mild off flavor I can’t place and a dry and slightly sour finish.
