12 ounce bottle into weizen glass, bottled on 11/18/2016. Pours hazy deep reddish copper/light brown color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big raisin, plum, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, banana, bubblegum, clove, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast and dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge raisin, plum, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, banana, bubblegum, clove, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of rfaisin, plum, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, banana, bubblegum, clove, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and dark/bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Minimal dryness. Medium-high carbonation and fairly full body; with a very smooth, creamy, bready, silky, and rich mouthfeel that is awesome. Minimal warming alcohol for 10.5%. Overall this is a fantastic weizenbock! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the huge ABV. Very rich with perfectly balanced yeast and malt complexity. Just as great as most classic German versions(though higher on ABV). A highly enjoyable offering, and pristine style example. svandyke (257) - USA - JUN 21, 2017
12oz (Educators on Tap)- Lots of caramel with soft carbonation. Really biscuit and caramel nose. Bready and toasty sweetness all around. Cybercat (6036) - Georgia, USA - FEB 10, 2017
Pours clear caramel woth with a nice pale tan head. Aroma offers average caramel and toasted malt notes. Flavor ups the caramel and tossed in a little tart apple. Mouthfeel presents typical body and fizz. Not exactly devilish, but serviceable. Travlr (25854) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 9, 2015
Draft. Hazy amber brown color, tan head. Aroma of raisins, toffee, caramel. Taste has raisins, dates, light cocoa, caramel. OK. nuplastikk (6416) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 25, 2015
Tap at Sidedoor. Filtered amber-brown, nice looking thin off-white head. Definitely has a sweet rum barrel feel. Smooth malt tones all the way. The wheat and coffee give it some interesting depth. A nice German beer, but barrel blasted. Overall pretty good. Rum, caramel, brown sugar. Unique.

Great beer. It has a bit of a belgian tatse but not the bite as it is smoothed out by the wheat. Nice hop balance. Great beer. lukedarock (246) - Howell, Michigan, USA - FEB 28, 2015
Can definitely see taste and smell the large amounts of malts in this brew, definitely wouldn’t have guessed the abv, and how a 11 percent beer is lacking something I have no idea but it is crossovert (13745) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 5, 2014
355ml bottle. Bottled march 13. Amber pour. Smell is a mix of oxidation, cidre, and malty booze. Falvor again oxidized, dried fruits, not a huge spice, alcohol and bitterness in the finish. It is old so I can’ judge it too fairly, curse the store but i was basically buying singles blindly based on what I hadn’t had. hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 29, 2014
12oz bottle. Poured a deep amber color with an off white head. Caramel, some fruitiness, and some earthy/grassiness. Alcohol content hidden. AirForceHops (7700) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 10, 2013
12 oz. bottle from a trade with queenholly. Dark mahogany brown color, no head or lacing. Nose is pretty nice, raisins with caramel covered banana’s. Very nice flavors of malts and yeast. Tastes of sweet malt, roasted caramel, nuts, and hints of banana’s. Notes of apples. Medium body. Dry texture. This is the first beer from this brewery that I really enjoyed. Nice one.
