Bottle. Couldn’t smell a whole lot. Taste was pretty bland. Had a really nice look to it.

Bottle. Bronzy red with no head. Boozy and butterscotch. Very bland for the style.

Bottle to glass. dark red pour with a khaki head. Nose is really boozy and hot with sweet malt. A little offensive. Taste is similar. Malt sweetness and bitter booze heat.

blipp (9278) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUL 24, 2013
Bottle. Pours amber with a beige head. Malty and bready, medium sweetness, light caramel, and some moderate bitterness in the finish. "Get this shit out of my house" - Ashley Harris. Ok, she didn’t like it, but I didn’t think it was that bad.

Ron (3961) - Rochester, New York, USA - JUN 23, 2013
Pours caramel brown with a white head. Nose is banana, booze, clove, and apple. Flavor is about the same. Lingering sweetness and somewhat boozy. Not as good as the German made, but still good.

I like the style and I think this was a decent attempt from a US company. Dark amber, my first taste impression was ’oh my that’s good’, Malty nose with figs. Complex full bodied palate. Rich. A bit of alcohol and warming late but it is somewhat hidden. Very good, thanks Ron!

solidfunk (8964) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUN 22, 2013
Decent weizenbock with the major fault being an excess of bitterness that doesn’t fit the style very well. Pours reddish brown with ok head and lacing. Some florals and wheat in the aroma. Bottle from Premier Gourmet.

OK Weizen. Boozy. Lacy on dark body. A sipper. Thanks Josh. Less boozy would be appreciated.

Bottle. Nice. Worth a drink or two. Go ahead and get one. Hides the alcohol well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.4
bobaidan (530) - Southington, Connecticut, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Pours murky brown with a medium head. Aroma is cherry, alcohol and caramel. Thick and sticky in body. Flavor is a bit too sweet and lacks complexity.
