TC is the cherry capital of the world and now Montmorency Cherries from this colorful town in Michigan’s “Up North” have made their way into a wheat beer for the ages, for a taste that’s totally cherry. Prost!

It’s okay. Not too sweeet thanks ot the tart cherries, a bit medicinal. A bit thin.

Basic beer, drinkable. Mild cherry aroma and taste. Built up mouthfeel. Nothing special, though cherry makes it half interesting. Fast dissipitating head.Bottle from FlandersNed.

Bottle. Clear reddish amber pour with a small white head. Mild cherry and a touch of lager on the aroma. Just a hint of cherry and not much wheat in the taste. Watery and bland - pretty dull.

DocLock (11049) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 11, 2012
Draft at Railroad Street. Pours coppery ruby, turbid, with off-white head. Nose is malt, mild cherry, brown sugar. Tastes light of palate, with very mild cherry flavor, wheaty malt, and a medium to light palate heft.

2.8
FROTHINGSLOSH (8142) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 21, 2016
Sampled on draft at Crave this beer poured a reddish caramel color with a large fluffy orange-white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was cherry and toffee. The flavor was sourish cherry wit bread and a bit of caramel. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Aroma is wheat and a hint of cherries. The flavor is malts, cherries and a mildly tart finish. Kind of bland, could have been due to it being and old sample.

Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JUN 7, 2012
Bottle: The aroma consists of light tart cherry with the slightest hint of wheat notes. It pours a transparent amber with a some very fine sediment and a one white pink-tinged white head that quickly fades to a thin film. The flavor starts with a quick dose of wheat and some caramel. The finish has light lemon and sweet cherry. It’s light bodied with somewhat fizzy carbonation. Overall. I’m generally fan of most cherry beers, but this one is a little on the bland side. With that said, there’s nothing offensive about this beer.

3.2
Suttree (6505) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 16, 2012
This was an odd beer. It’s reddish copper, so it does not look like a any sort of wheat ale. Not a huge amount of cherry aroma, either. Flavor is cough syrup, some bitter notes, and some graham cracker as it warms.
