TC is the cherry capital of the world and now Montmorency Cherries from this colorful town in Michigan’s “Up North” have made their way into a wheat beer for the ages, for a taste that’s totally cherry. Prost!

Cybercat (6121) - Georgia, USA - JAN 5, 2017
Pours clear, slightly reddish amber with a thick, fine-bubbled, and fairly persistent eggshell head. Aroma offers wheat, cherry and hay notes. Flavor ramps up the wheat, adds some tartness to the cherry character, and tosses in a snip of bitter evergreen hops. Mouthfeel presents typical effervescence and fizz. Cherry cheers!

cheap (6074) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 14, 2014
At bocktown. Smells a little like mild fruity or perceivable cherry perfume. Big smooth head. A little sweet at the start and as the session continues it gets just a tad cloying. Very little co2. Has someof thoes typical fruit beer attributes. Slight medicinal finish.

2.3
ganache (6050) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 4, 2016
Bottle. Nose of sour cherry and a touch of wheat, sugar. Pours a confusing orange-brown with a short, lightly oily beige head. Light body with grainy wheat, lightly tart and even less bitterness, malt is straightforward and leans on the crystal. A bit sharp-edged, tart cherry, bit of gummy slime/dough. Pass. bottle. coppery with small head. pretty basic wheat beer with some cherry flavor. kind of dull.

3.4
superspak (5996) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - JUN 17, 2015
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled in 4/2015. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy reddish copper color with a 2 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of light sweet/tart cherry, wheat, cracker, toasted bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Okay aromas with solid balance of cherry, pale malt, and earthy hop notes; with very weak strength. Taste of light sweet/tart cherry, wheat, cracker, toasted bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness and fruit tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of cherry, wheat, cracker, toasted bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good balance and solid robustness of cherry, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness/tartness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly creamy/acidic mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a decent fruited wheat beer style. All around good balance and solid robustness of cherry, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A fairly enjoyable offering.

Light golden in color, hazy with a thin head. Light cherry and wheat aroma. Flavor was light fruit with a dry finish.

burg326 (5604) - Florida, USA - JUN 12, 2013
12 ounce bottle pours a copper red rust color with aromas of subtle cherries and light wheat. Flavors are light cherreies, some wheat and a light tart aftertaste. A nice beer to enjoy in the heat and better than the sam addams cherry wheat.

3.2
nearbeer (5599) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 11, 2013
12 oz, bottled April 2013. Clear orange-copper with a lasting quarter inch of creamy head. Mild but pleasant nose of toffee, banana, and a touch of cherry. The taste really has lots of fresh, tart pie-making cherries. Also a touch of spicy banana, caramel and some woody hops. Medium body is soft with average carbonation and enough acidic tartness to provide a fair balance. Not a huge fan of this brewery or the fruit style, but this one’s pretty good.

2.6
chinchill (5309) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 12, 2016
From a 12 oz bottle. Looks nice with a deep Amber body topped by a good head, but the aroma and flavor disappoint. Some cherry is evident but it’s subtle and accompanied by more bitterness than tartness. Medium body and near medium carbonation.

2.5
hotstuff (5252) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JAN 12, 2016
Rated on 7-25-2015 at 800 Degrees Three Fires, Fort Wayne, IN. This draft beer is presented with a small ivory head that is mostly lasting, amber transparent body, very little carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma presents tart cherry and wheat. The flavor is tart cherry and sweet. The mouthfeel is smooth and this is a light bodied fruit beer. There is very little going on with this beer as it lacks aroma and very little flavor. It is an easily forgettable beer.
