From a 12 oz bottle. Looks nice with a deep Amber body topped by a good head, but the aroma and flavor disappoint. Some cherry is evident but its subtle and accompanied by more bitterness than tartness. Medium body and near medium carbonation.

A nice try, but the cherry taste is a bit medicinal when accenting the grassy wheatiness of the base. Tried at the DC Drink the District Derby Days with Matt and Justin.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear medium cherry amber with a frothy head cover and small bands of lace. Taste is malt up front that adds sour cherry in the palate, turning slightly bitter in the finish. Im not sure all elements agree with each other in this brew...pretty solid going in, not so ggod in the lingering finish.

Pours a copper color with a slight aroma of wheat and cherry. Cherry flavor upfront and very brief with some wheat. Pretty average.

tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - OCT 5, 2013
UPDATED: APR 8, 2014 Bottle: Hazy copper color, white head dissipates quickly as it leaves absolutely no lacing along the glass. Aroma barely has any cherry in it. Very, very light cherry, wheat, sweet malt, a finishing touch of bland floral hops. Aroma is so light, its hard to pick up on anything. Way too weak. Taste is slightly tart cherry up front, more like a juice with some medicinal and chalky notes. Soft, bland... full of wheat; back-end of wheat almost overpowers the cherry. Aftertaste is full of that weird chalky, "just chewed a vitamin" finish. Not the best...

Interesting... Points for trying something different but needs some work. The cherries lean sour and the tartness seems to compete with the wheat rather than complement it.

Bottle at home. Pours a slightly pinkish yellow gold with a huge head. Very over carbonated. Aroma is wheat and yeast with some cherries. Flavor has wheat and good cherry flavor. Slightly tart sour. Interesting beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught. Clear reddish dark orange with large spongy beige head, fruity aroma, fizzy. slightly metallic sour cherry taste, medium finish. The metallic taste is not good at all.

Bottle from Wegmans. Pours hazy orange with no head to speak of other than around the rim of the glass. The aroma does have some tart cherry present but very little else. The taste has a light cherry, more sweet than tart initially, and a decent maltiness. Reasonable but not up there with beers like the Founders Cherise.
