Atwater’s is a perfect company to brew this beer, because well, its full of water. A beer that carries a lengthy name ingredient deck brings little flavor to the table. This beer should be so much more, but falls flat, like its taste.
12 oz. bottle pours a dark brown color with a small off white head. Aromas of vanilla, coffee, roasted malt. Medium bodied, a little thin, but tastey

Bottle from Westin Airport Hotel in Detroit on 8 October 2017. Vanilla, coffee and beer make for a great combination and it suits no better beer style than Porter. Looks like a black coffee with a creamy tan head and smells of vanilla and roasted coffee beans. Thin in the mouth but it builds to a creamy texture. The finish is bitter with roasted coffee bean aftertaste. wombat23 (2165) - Texas, USA - OCT 6, 2017

3/1016 Thin, no body to speak of, nice carbonation. Smooth. Medium sweet. no hop bitterness at all, either when drinking or as an aftertaste. Notes of coffee and caramel . Not much character. Boring. Very drinkable, but why bother?

Pours a very dark brown with a ring of tan head. Aroma smoky vanilla java. Flavor carries nice vanilla character but feels a bit watered down.

12 oz bottle from a grocery store in Upper Michigan. This bottle reads 5% ABV. Aroma is strong in vanilla, chocolate, coffee; roasty, hint of licorice. Pours dark dark brown to black with a one finger beige head that falls into a ring after a minute; leaves a bit of lace. Taste is sweet and roasty, finishing with a slightly dry bitterness; flavors are chocolate, vanilla, coffee, wet stone. This is really good. I don’t understand the low scores for this. I can’t find anything wrong with it. mjmoen (631) - - JUL 9, 2017
