3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle:   Pours black, moderate foamy light beige head, nice lacing.   Looks fairly good.   Sweet ashy cocoa on the nose.   Make that big time ashy cocoa.   Very ashy on the tongue, semi-sweet, cocoa and bakers chocolate.   Not a soy or huge roasted malt bomb.   This is 11% ABV?   Not a big beer, fairly moderate.   Huge dusty/ashy cocoa and bakers chocolate on the tongue.   A little chalky on the backside.   Not hoppy, not heavy with soy, not roasty at all.   This is an interesting one in that its got lots of semi-sweet cocoa, bakers chocolate, with some ashy and chalkiness like no other.   Interesting beer.   Thanks Kevin for this one!
Very dark brown color with a modest, light tan colored head. Sweet aromas, with some molasses, chocolate liqueur, tapioca, and dark fruit. Fairly thin and a bit fizzy (at first) in feel. The feel smoothens out a bit later. Has a chocolate flavor that doesn’t come across as natural. Alcohol is not very present, a good thing considering the strength. 4/13

12oz bottle from Ridgeview Liquor in Green Bay. Chocolate. Light grain. Sweet malty with some caramel. Light overall for style. Cocoa bean tasty. 13 thedm (6186) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 8, 2016
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy light brown colored bubbles that were and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque except at the edges dark black brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was medicinal and dark malt. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish with a strong dark malt aftertaste. The yummy flavor contained notes of mildly vinous mild hops burnt malt and dark malt. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again. neepsntatties (1988) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 20, 2016
Bottle courtesy of "AKFaust". Colour...basic black with a thin head. Nose...roasted nuts and dark chocolate. Palate...a bit thin but then cafe au lait hits and dark Dutch chocolate follows. Mid palate is loaded with Tootsie Rolls and soapy anise and fennel. The finish is supple, tangy and loaded with licorice. Zaclovesbeer (2) - - MAR 20, 2016 does not count
The aroma is full but not overpowering. At first taste it is very malty and smooth but finishes with a sweet and bitter taste. It is a very pleasant beer that is easy to drink but can get you in trouble quickly

Draft. Pours a dark brown. Aroma and taste are sweet with chocolate and some roasted malts. ebone1988 (1931) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - JAN 10, 2016
Bottle shared with koleminer20, out of Dumpster Day box #1. Because I think he hates me. Aroma is light, bready, dry, mocha, chocolate, roasted malt. Appearance is brown, light tan head, poured incredibly thin. Taste is just like Vanilla Java Porter, only slightly more flavor. Vanilla, chocolate, biscuit, all light and not good. Mouthfeel is medium body and light carbonation, with a mostly bready aftertaste. Overall, god damn. The people who work great really should consider new careers, they aren’t good at making beer. koleminer20 (3599) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JAN 10, 2016
12 oz bottle shared with ebone1988. This is from Dumpster Box No. 1. The pour is a thin brown with a frothy thin and light head with a couple spots of lace. The aroma is decent, but really thin. There is a light chocolate and carries a decent mocha tendency. A light booze is present on the back end. It's sweet and smells a lot better than I know it will be. The flavor is full of vanilla and chocolate with a light sweet metallic finish. The mouth feel is terrible. Really thin and light with a strong lack of carbonation and a lingeringly sweet mocha finish. This could be decent if it weren't like latte water. Atwater fails again.

Pours a very dark brown almost black with a huge creamy and foamy tan head. The foam was almost volcanic and took a long time to dissipate. Nice malt and nutty aroma but not too strong. Medium body, not too oily or clingy. Fairly smooth with the roasted flavor hitting only the sides of the tongue. The taste lingers a bit then its gone. It hides the alcohol well. Not harsh or bitter. Not the best Stout I’ve had but far from the worst. OK but flavor is pretty one dimensional. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - JUL 19, 2015
bottle - pours near black with a tan head. It has a dark roast malt and chocolate aroma. Roast malt and chocolate flavor... it’s got a full body though not as full as some in this style. Very good.
