Six pack from Hardings. Pour from a 12 oz bottle. clear brown brew with small creamy white head. Aroma of some caramel and toffee, a little grass or spice. Taste is moderately sweet malt at the start slaked by astringent hops at the end of the swallow. Fairly dry finish with just a little of the caramel hanging on. I was worried this would be too sweet, but rather is just full bodied. Very enjoyable brew wmubronco1992 (709) - Coldwater, Michigan, USA - DEC 21, 2012
Bottle. Pours very dark amber/copper. Cream off white head. Mild spicy aroma. Very creamy with smooth texture. Some caramel in the flavor, but more bitter. Bitter mouthfeel. I enjoyed this. rumproasts (6035) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - DEC 19, 2012

Drank from the bottle at a family gathering. This was better than I expected. Nice job with malty sweetness without tasting syrupy or too heavy; hint of caramel, toffee. I wouldn’t turn down another one. skoll (420) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - NOV 28, 2012
12oz. Bottle: Aroma of raisins, bread, nuts, toasting, and caramel. Poured copper/amber in color with a small, off-white/tan head that lasted throughout. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of spice, light toasting, and some malts. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Molasses and light malt finish. I liked this one I would go back for another one if I could.

It had a great off-white head that lingered and laced all the way down the glass. The aroma was sweet, malty caramel and toffee. It tasted of toffee, caramel and chocolate. Not a heavy body, but great mouth feel and bold flavors. Great Job! DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - NOV 21, 2012
Hazy caramel brown. Very light nose of cereal and malt. Medium bodied palate has more cereal flavprs as well as nut. Malty, but crisp. A good bock. BVery (11361) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 11, 2012
Bottle. Murky reddish brown pour with a minimal head. Toffee sweetness, not a ton of body, maybe a little chocolatey. So so. tnkw01 (1800) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 21, 2012
Bottle. Nice, bold flavor. Aftertaste remindsme of the old Lowenbrau by Miller. Pretty good for an American doppelbock. Dark color with a nice head that hung around. Aroma was slightly like a fruit cake. Like it. Skyview (6099) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - MAR 2, 2012
Received a 12-oz bottle from distributor. Pour a semi-clear copper amber colored brew with an average sized off-white head that leaves behind some spotty lacing and a film top. Aroma of multi-grain malt, some toffee, caramel, floral hops and a hint of brown sugar. Taste is medium bodied, average carbonation with flavors of multi-grain malt, some grassy hops, a hint of cereal and toasted nuts. Finish is semi-dry with a slight medicinal bitterness.
