12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 10/12/2016. Pours fairly crystal clear medium golden/yellow color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. A bit fruity/yeasty, but not overwhelming. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitterness, lightly increasing through the glass. Fairly clean on lager flavors; light yeasty notes present, but not overwhelming. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/grainy/bready, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is a good Helles. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very good example of the style, just wish it was a little cleaner/less fruity on the yeast. A nicely enjoyable offering. unclefrito62 (355) - Stow, Ohio, USA - APR 26, 2017
12 ounce can at home. Big foamy white head. Smell the malt, maybe scent of apple. Light on the tongue and easy to drink. Taste the malt. Lawn mowing beer to me. Light straw and hazy in color. PhatCatt (87) - Michigan, USA - NOV 13, 2016
UPDATED: APR 9, 2017 Lightly malty, overall it is pretty much light bodied (possibly almost medium-light bodied). Refreshing finish. Beer from can. Msdrbeat (785) - East Lansing, USA - MAY 3, 2016
On tap at Hopcat. But of Apple aroma. Mouthfeel is thin and crisp. Pours clear golden. Good beer for a hot day. Onslow (1535) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - APR 26, 2015
UPDATED: FEB 16, 2017 bumping up my rating on this - I’ve quaffed down quite a few since doing the original rating and the metallic taste issues I noted have not been present for a while. This is a really nice lager and has become a mainstay for me.

Pour from a 12 oz can.Clear deep yellow brew with generous head. Head settles from the middle of the glass and leaves generous lacing as the glass is drained. Aroma of light sweet malt with some grass, slight lactic and metallic overtones. Taste is sweet malt up front, some sour and bitter towards the middle of the swallow, sour hops finish with nice malty notes. Average palate. Very enjoyable lager
Drank straight from a can. Not much of an aroma. Flavor is wheat/grain and bread. Pretty mild, not very memorable. DocLock (11110) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 8, 2014
Can. Gold pour with hopcitrus and pale malt in the nose. Tastes like a helles, nothing intense, but something I’d drink a few of with a Connecticut wrapper cigar on a 95 degree summer day like today in Philly. degbert (1776) - Austin, Texas, USA - APR 9, 2014
Can. Sometimes in life, I am told I overthink things, that I’m too much in my head. It’s a character flaw. So...I’m going to keep it simple. It’s beer. It’s gold, it’s fizzy, it’s refreshing, it’s not offensive, it’s decently tasty after a long day. Sometimes, it’s just beer. Patrickctenchi (6750) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - NOV 1, 2013

Pours clear, slightly amber gold with a tall, white head.
Sweet grain malt aroma.
Taste is grain, corn malt...sweet...almost a sorghum flavor.
Very sweet and light.
Can on the Metro North train into NYC. Pours lightly hazy gold with a big, white froth head. Nose of cheap cereal grains. Light sweet flavor with modest cardboard, cereal and hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with vaguely tangy citrus. Not very good, really.
