Aroma is light yeast, pale malts and a good hint of bitterness. The flavor is light citrus, pale malts, mild sweetness and a beery/bitter finish. r464 (2362) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 8, 2013
Lightly malty, somewhat watery. Fairly crisp with a rolling finish. Not terrible, better than macros. BVery (11241) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - APR 18, 2013
Can. Mostly clear yellow-orange pour with a large white head. Grain and bread, slightly sweet, not too bad for the style. Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 1, 2012
This lager is different than others I’ve had. Sweet corn/caramel taste, big tingle in the back of the throat. Would have liked a better hop balance. Meh shrubber85 (11582) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - OCT 3, 2012
Can. Lightly lactic barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Slight sweet barley malt and lightly bitter hay flavor. Okay - nothing special.

Can - decent size thick head, medium straw color, mildly sweet malt/lager aroma and flavor, mild hops - actually not bad, certainly much more flavorful than your typical American lager bwa5879 (956) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUL 24, 2012
Medium yellow tan pour into shaker. Quarter inch white head that disappeared in 30 seconds. Looks like a darker macro brew. Sour smell similar to a macro brew, slightly spicier, hints of cinnamon/nutmeg. Light body, medium carbonation. Easy to drink, slightly sour on the tongue. Like a macro lager but more complex. Tastes reminiscent of a German style lagers. Woody, more notes of spices like nutmeg and cloves. Truly great alternative to the big 3 pissy pilsners. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - MAY 4, 2012
Bottle. Grainy malt and apple aroma. Hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Slightly sweet grainy malt, citrus tang, and mild grassy flavor. Light carbonated body. Skyview (6093) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - MAR 2, 2012
Received sample 12-oz can from distributor to try. Pours a clear golden straw colored brew with a creamy white head that slowly dissipates to a cream top and minimal lacing. Aroma of lager yeast, bread dough, a hint of floral hops and a touch of honey. Taste is light to medium bodied, flavors of bread dough, floral hops and some mild lager yeast. Finish is semi-sweet with a lingering bread dough aftertaste. DasBierChef (1083) - Hudson, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 29, 2012
Now why does the Atwater’s Lager beer can design remind me of a 1970s era Stroh’s Bohemian beer can?
Pretty close to your typical light lager. A strange green hue to this though, similar to Badass Lager which makes me question Detroit’s water supply.
