Tap at the brewpub. Hazy, light amber, high white head. Aroma of wood, wine, hops, bready tones. Taste is bitter, a bit sourish finish. Vinous, woody, bread, malts, yeast. Medium body and carbonation.
Interesting alsasian variation of amber ale. Tasty.
Draught at the brewpub. Hazy, amber colored. AROMA- vinous, apricot, peach, wood. FLAVOR- neutral, pleasantly bitter, malty, fruity, tones of wood. Medium bodied. Koelschtrinker (21370) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - AUG 27, 2016
Wässriger, röstig bitterer Antrunk mit zunehmender Würzigkeit. Die vorhandene Muffigkeit bleibt hintergründig, zum Ende frischer und harmonischer. Zum Ende erheblich besser als zuvor. 10/7/8/9//8 imdownthepub (15160) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 31, 2016
Keg at Au Brasseur, Strasbourg, France. Hazy amber with white head. Sweet, thin and quite malty with a buttery note, some fruitiness perhaps otherwise fairly dull. Struggling a little with these Au Brasseur beers. mR_fr0g (13226) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 17, 2015
On tap the at the brewpub. 21/07/2015 two days after the Etape du Tour. Hazed golden / orange coloured pour with a lasting fine white head. Aroma is alcohol solvent and caramel apple. Flavour is composed of crisp semi sweet grains, light tangy apple, burnt toffee and honey. Palate is semi- sweet, little crisp, moderate carbonation. Flavour is better than the aroma.

Shared 33cl on tap at the Au Brasseur. Pours an almost clear amber colour with a off-white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, toasted, lightly yeast and with some leather notes. Soft carbonation and medium body. Taste is more sweet than bitter. Overall, probably the more tasteful and balanced of all the four we had (Blonde, Blanche, Amber and Brune), but a bit boring. fonefan (50751) - VestJylland, DENMARK - APR 3, 2013

Draught @ Au Brasseur, 22, rue des Veaux, Strasbourg, France 67000.
Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, caramel, fruity, light yeasty, leather notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, dry, caramel, notes. IMO. a bit borring. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
On tap at the brewpub. Dark golden/amber coloured, small white head, hint of malt in the nose. Sweet malty, light fruity and some hops with notes of metal. Single but pretty sharp hint of alcohol near the end. jaghana (6229) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - JUL 3, 2012
On tap the best of the four available beers. A light cloudy amber beer with good head. Nose is on yeast and fermented notes. Aroma is sweet with caramel notes as well as metallic notes, not bad bud should got more body, medium hops bouquet. larsga (7630) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 20, 2010
Medium offwhite lasting head. Amber body. Light malty caramelly aroma. Dry-sweet roasty caramelly taste with syrupy papery notes. Light body. Mild, soft moufheel. Dry resiny citric aftertaste with grassy fruity notes. Not bad, but maybe a bit light on the malts. Nicely drinkable, though. (0.15l draft at brewpub.)
