UPDATED: SEP 10, 2017 Probably my favourite of the 4 beers this strasbourg place brews. Sweet and fruity but without the overkill of the clove aroma and taste you get so often in that style of beer.

Tap. Really hazy, yellow body, small white head. Inviting aroma of yeast, white wine, coriander, spices, cumin, flowers, muscat, limes, lemongrass, malts. Taste is lightly sweet, bitter and a bit dry finish. White wine, white grapes, lemon, lemongrass, coriander, muscat. Medium body and carbonation.
Great alsatian blanche beer, nice balanced and spiced. Enjoyable :)

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy, straw colored. AROMA- fresh, limes, coriander, vinous. FLAVOR- neutral to slightly sweet, flavor the same as nose, hops. Medium bodied.
Very good.

Tap at the Au Brasseur in Straßburg. Pours dark yellow. Nose is hay, floral, citrus. Palate is tart, citrus hints of banana . Decent.

Koelschtrinker (22074) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - AUG 27, 2016
Hell hefiger, mild süßer Antrunk. Leicht herb, weich, süffig. Zum Ende herber und insgesamt voller. Unauffällig aber nett. 10/9/10/11//10

Keg at Au Brasseur, Strasbourg, France. Clouded Yellow with white head. Really quite a sweet beer, pear drops, floral but pretty thin. Little depth of flavours, skimpy. Not really for me.

anstei (2745) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - APR 4, 2016
Bottle at Monday Club Zurich. A funky wit? Seems like something went wrong. Farmhouse and lactose, vinegar. Not wit-like at all, and not in a good way. Some sourness. Odd.

On tap the at the brewpub. 21/07/2015 two days after the Etape du Tour. Clouded yellow straw coloured pour with a lasting white frothy head. Aroma is tangy doughy wheat grains, light orange, yogurt funk, some stale grains. Flavour is composed of wheaty, xesty lemon, peach, light grains, pithy yogurt. Palate is is little thin, chalky, highish carbonation, very dry in the finish. Not bad a little farmyard in the finish.

Une très belle blanche au nez typé sur des notes de citron, d’agrumes et de minéralité avec une bouche qui associe fraîcheur, fruit, et belle amertume en finale. Une blanche très équilibrée.

ruigo (3080) - PORTUGAL - MAR 2, 2014
33cl on tap at the Au Brasseur. Pours a hazy pale whitish yellow colour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is citric, floral, lightly spicy and lightly banana. Average carbonation and light to medium body. Taste is more sweet than bitter, with some astringent and dry finish. Overall, a refreshing and very drinkable beer but not remarkable.
