Dunkler, süßlich röstiger Beginn. Trockener und röstiger Mittelteil, schnell wässrig werdend. Nicht sonderlich spannend. 10/8/8/8//8 imdownthepub (14555) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 31, 2016

Shared 33cl on tap at the Au Brasseur. Shows medium to dark brown colour with a fluffy off-white head. Aroma is roasted, malty, earthy and lightly yeast. Soft carbonation and medium body. Taste is more sweet than bitter, with the flavours dispersed into a long finish. Overall, a nice but not remarkable beer.

On tap, a brown beer with medium head. Nose is lightly roasted with over riped fruit notes. Correct brown ale with dark malt and sweetness but body is a bit thin, not unforgettable. larsga (7540) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 20, 2010
Biggish offwhite lasting head. Slightly hazy amber body. Roasty oily grassy aroma is very faint. Dry-sweet roasty malty strawy taste with grassy herbal notes. Light body. Mild, faintly mealy mouthfeel. Dry grassy toffee aftertaste with chalky notes. Decent, but too low on taste. (0.15l draft at brewpub.) sunevdj (4087) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - OCT 17, 2007
