UPDATED: JUL 9, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Comes as Val-Dieu Blonde" from Brasserie Piron in Aubel at 6,5% ABV. Pale, hazy golden beer wihh a lovely, full, white head. Extremely fruity and fresh - like some of the best Czech pilseners. Is Saaz used in this? Sweetish malt, soft mouthfeel with a refreshing touch of hops in the finish. Lovely blond ale. 011197

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2007 Bottled at Delirium, Gothenburg. Orange, unclear in color, with white head. Fizzy. Citric nose. Candisugar and dried fruit in flavour, and a sweet aftertaste with alcohol. (Is this the same brewery as Brasserie de lAbbaye du Val-Dieu, which is also situated in Aubel?)(051008) MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 6, 2007
Bottle, 6.5%. Vinous, dried fruit aroma. Golden colour with very tiny floaties and a stable white head. The flavour is nicely fruity and malty. Good alcohol level and a little breadiness to balance. Hint of yeast in the finish. Very nice.

Golden colour, clean; one inch of rocky head, and a persistent flow of small bubbles raising. No classic lace: actually the foam sticks to the glass!sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 2, 2005
Deep aroma, typical for a Tripel, spicy, old hop, malt.
Not as dry as the other similar beers; pretty sweet, some malt, some alcohol, very light aniseed and even lighter liquorice.
Not enough supported by the hop.
(Bottled, Brewed by Grain d’Orge) Hazy pale golden color with a smallish head. Honeyish-fruity, slightly sweet bubblegum aroma. Fruity, reasonably hoppy, refreshing flavor. Medium-bodied, slightly sugary, slicky palate with quite low carbonation. A quite nice and refreshing brew. vanvenlo (1885) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - AUG 29, 2005
30 May 2005 - Sweet stone fruit and some spirit aroma. Light cloudy golden colour, good lacing and fair head. Light complex fruit malt. Dry finish, hoppy lingering bitter finish and thickish mouthfeel. auderale (605) - Minot, North Dakota, USA - MAY 22, 2006
Cloudy, golden colored pour with little to no head. Had a nice spicy aroma to it. Spicy, citrus finish to it. Pretty damn good.
