Golden colour, thin head, fairly fizzy. Hoppy, nice at first but with a strange aftertaste. Natai (124) - Sacramento, California, USA - OCT 29, 2014
On tap at DeVere’s Irish Pub Auburn Alehouse night. Liquid gold with a slight white head and excellent lacing. Simcoe hops are evident and import wonderful pine and resin aromas, followed by a hint of citrus. Smooth front end that transitions to a bit of a dry bite on the back end. slowrunner77 (12051) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 18, 2014
"close to a double, if it isn’t indeed one. This is among their best beers...it was the second best (best in my opinion) beer at the Music In the Mountains brewfest 8/08. Wonderful hop aroma and a body and strength that tends to lean towards an imperial. had it at the pub a couple times too, and it’s never disappointed. 11/09-strangely enough, this big IPA didn’t fare well cask conditioned. a little boring, especially compared to the awesome Rubicon Hop Sauce (cask). I’d like to compare the regular versions of each beer..."

Dark straw, white foam. The aroma is grapefruit with a pine back and spice. Medium body, lacing thick on the sides. Bitter. A solid IPA. HERRDUNKEL (10) - SAN DIEGO, California, USA - AUG 20, 2014
Slight orange hue. Pine & citrus with a bit of floral.
Well balanced hop to malt profile.
Crisp finish. Nice summer IPA being just an ave ABV.

Draft at the brewpub. Moderate citrus and pine in the nose, with some lemon. Fairly clear, light yellow color. Moderate hop flavor, mostly pine, with a drying finish. Good but not obnoxious. Low by California IPA standards, hehe. Banksiz (136) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAY 30, 2014
UPDATED: JUN 14, 2014 Citrus-piney nose. Very hoppy. Pours an attractive gold color. Bitter with a touch of malt. Satisfying bitter finish. Perhaps a little too bitter for my taste, and didn’t have any noble-hop depth of flavor. No harshness in the bitterness, though and a pleasing brew. greenhorn1 (850) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - JAN 19, 2014
22 oz bottle. Pours yellow, small head. Great version of a NW IPA. Citrus bomb and you can taste the fresh squeezed hops. Nice bitterness on the tongue. Very easy to drink and balanced well. Masterkush7 (580) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 2, 2013

On Cask at Hopyard. This stuff is AMAZING in casks! Sweet, warm and hoppy! It tasted almost as if it was wet hopped in the cask! On tap instead of cask, it is not as good. But it is still a bright IPA.
