Thanks kajser! Darker honeyish amber-golden, misty, with a medium white head. Huge huge caramelly dry malty-yeasty blast in the aroma, actually likable. Hmmm... husky grainy note in the taste, medium sweetness, nothing else. Kinda undefined finish and aftertaste, stuck somewhere between sweet and salty and unappealing. Some weak herbal hoppy notes pop through nicely but rarely. Eh.

Bottle (50 cl swing-top) from KeWe Getrnkemarkt, Bamberg, Germany. Shady amber, medium off-white head. Earthy malt aroma, with some potatoe cellar aromas. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry, medium to high bitterness.

Usually a tasty and interesting quaffer, but not entirely consistent. Bottle. Thickly hazy red-orange-amber. Fruity orange-zest and grain in the nose. Some faint garbage DMS in the aroma, but Ive had many bottles of this and never noticed it before. I get more of a zesty-citrus quality than a doughiness from the yeast, with a fairly firm spicy bitterness and light mineral tang. Fairly lively carbonation, finishing dry. I like this one fine but find the Keller-Pils to be more distinctive.

Bottle from Erlangernick, thanks Nick. Hazy amber thin white head. Decent slightly malty beer. Some lemon. OK but not as good as the pils.

Nettes und knackiges Zwickl mit ein klein wenig Hopfen, etwas Gras und ein bisschen an Brot. Einfach zu trinken, frisch - klassisch zwicklig ohne sich aufdrngen zu wollen.

Bottle from Getrnke Kistner in Forchheim. The beer pours out in a light hazy golden-light amber colour with steady head and medium body. Aroma of hops and bread. Taste of mild hops, straw, nuts, bread, wheat and light barley. Easy drinkable with a quaffable finish. Enjoyed it.

Ins Glas ergiet sich ein trbes dunkel goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig herb, grasig. Geschmack herb, malzig, grasig.

Half litre flip top bottle. A: Pale amber, hazy, small off white head which faded. S: Cork and some real farmyard funk, not overly pronounced though. T: Fruit on the turn, some sharpness, hint of charcoal at the finish. M: What there was in the way of carbonation faded, smooth, body thick for the strength. O: Nothing outstanding, not bad, not great either.

Hazy amber golden colour, white head. Vegetable aroma, citrus peel, morning breath and tomato paste. Vegetable flavour, banana, malts and chalk. Finish malts and chalk. Not my favourite.
