3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Mild pale ale that pours an ideal color. Doesn't knock your tongue off with hops. My wife even liked it. Refreshing.

Tap. Pours a clear amber orange color. Light ring of bubbles. Aroma is hoppy, mash, and old hops. Flavor also tastes like hops beyond their time. Bitter finish.

Amber, cream head. Leather and horseblanket in the aroma, with clean hops. Start is assertive, toast, followed by solid malt, followed by a long, bitter finish. Clean, fresh on the palate.

Sampler at the brewpub. It poured a copper color with a small head. The aroma was hops and more hops, very tasty. The flavor was also dominated by hops and a little bitterness. A very decent brew.

Tasted on tap at Augusta Brewing in Augusta, Missouri. Medium orange body with a bit of cloudiness. Medium hoppy aroma. Hoppy yet amber-like malts can be tasted. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - SEP 23, 2010
GABF 2010, lighter caramel colored pour, grassy hops & medium biterness. balanced but flavor was a bit light. decent EPA & sessionable phaleslu (10553) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 1, 2010
Sample from a growler poured by the brewer. He was calling it an APA, though, so I think the style might be incorrectly listed here. Anyway, it pours a clear amber color with a two-finger off-white head. Notes of floral hops, orange citrus, caramel malts, pine, yeast, and grass. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a leafy mouthfeel. Whether its an EPA or APA, it’s a nice, sessionable ale. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 5, 2009
Fairly decent EPA, with a fairly strong malt beginning finishing with a slight hop taste and bitterness at the end.
