Furseth (2165) - Kungälv, SWEDEN - FEB 24, 2008
Bottle at 3-små rum Göteborg, shared with ekstedt. Clear golden colour, nice head.Aroma of fruits, yeast, malt, and a alcy nose. Flavor is almost the same here, spicy is the key word here. Nice medium body and fruity medium finish. Nice.

KimJohansen (10498) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - FEB 24, 2008
Clear golden with large white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with light brett notes. Sweet yeasty aroma with peach and spices. Ends dry. Very refreshing.

hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 3, 2008
Gold with a large white head. Restrained sweet yeasty aroma. Taste is dominated by musty hoppiness, but there’s a little citrus as well. Not as much going on here as I had hoped.

3.2
LinusStick (3530) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 12, 2007
A nice Belgian strong. On tap at Sharp Edge Creekhouse. Aroma was so so. Mostly fruity with a bit of yeast. Pour was a light gold with a nice 2 finger white head. Taste was sweet and fruity without being over the top. Nice yeast in there with just a hint of alcohol, but nowhere near the 9% says. One of the better Belgian strongs.

3.5
ekstedt (7013) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 9, 2007
Bottle (33 cl) at Tre små rum, Göteborg, Sweden. Hazy deep golden with a medium white head. Fruity and estery with yeast and dusty hops. Medium bodied with prickling carbonation. Nice dry finish.

3.2
TrefwoordPunk (1326) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - NOV 16, 2007
Bottle 33 c. Pale golden with a huge white head. Aroma is sweet with hints of ripe fruits, yeast and alcohol. Aftertaste is sweet too. A good beer, but nothing really exceptional

3.3
Grovlam (4257) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 30, 2007
Bottle. Huge fizzy white head that mostly lasted. Nice thick lacework. Cloudy golden / amber color with a sparkling appearance. Aroma was very fruity and yeast with other notes being caramel, grain, spice, hint of coriander and citrus. Light wood and hoppy notes as well. Over the palate evidence of alcohol was present. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and a light dry and alcoholic texture. Balanced moderated sweet and bitter flavor. Moderated fruity and spicy light bitter finish.

3.5
Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 27, 2007
UPDATED: MAY 16, 2010 Straw-colored and heady, leaving circular splotches. Delightfully aromatic with some ginger flower and lemon rind but perfume and alcohol are present. Soft palate, smooth. Nice but not exceptional, and can be a let-down if you are expecting something more...and yet on its own is quite nice and dry. On re-rate liked it more and upgraded from 3.2

3.4
mtoast (336) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 11, 2007
On tap, from old notes. Bright golden yellow with dense white foam, candy like sweetness with undertones of alcohol, spice and bitterness.

TET (3285) - Kaarina, FINLAND - OCT 6, 2007
Huge white head and little grey-brown beer. There are lots of flowers in the aroma (almost parfym?). Flavour is sour and quite sweet. There is no alcohol in the taste. Carbonation is too much and so palate isn’t pleasant. Little disappoitment.
