Bottle. Clear medium to light yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, grain, bread, light butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery but also buttery, carbonation is soft.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 3, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden with a fine but collapsing head. Nice, full, malty body with a surprisingly - for Bavaria that is - high bitterness. Decent but not really anything spectacular. 250101

Bottle swig courtesy of Christian, vielen dank! Missed the appearance, but I assume it had one. Aroma of hay and straw. Taste has white pepper and lemony lager.

I really enjoyed this brew. Incredibly smooth and well-balanced. Pours a pale gold, mildly bitter aroma. Not terribly complex, but delicious nonetheless.
