Bottle from Rodman’s. Pretty sure this is what I had, the bottle I had was Augustiner-Brau Mundieu Edelstoff. Pours a nice yellow with a minimal head. Little aroma, some grain. Very carbonated. Some malt and grain on the back palette. Very clean flavor that is pretty consistent from front to back. Though this isn’t my favorite style, I’d have a few more of these if I was in the right mood.

Clear straw body, big white head. Aroma of pils malt, honey, noble hops. Flavours of malt, honey, slightly hoppy, very light alcohol fusel notes. Short crispy grainy slightly bitter finish. Smooth body soft carbo. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear golden pour with two finger soapy white head, quickly diminishing. Lasting thin layer on top, ok lacing. Grainy nose, grassy, malty sweet with a touch of earthy hops. Medium body with regular carbonation, lively on the tongue. Mild bittersweet taste, a bit subdued and watery. Aroma of malts, grains, grass and earthy hops. Nice herbal notes. A bit of caramel in the aftertaste. Finish is slightly dry, mildly bitter and a bit peppery. Overall, good beer. Nothing extraordinary about it, but it’s nicely balanced and clean. A good thirst quencher.

50cl bottle purchased @ Tante Emma Laden. Couleur très claire et fine mousse. Saveurs classiques d’une lager avec un final sur la pomme.

On tap @Fusion Cafè (Gubbio). Dorata viva, limpida, schiuma bianca media e persistente. Al naso sentori di panino al burro, leggero miele, luppolo. In bocca è equilibrata, maltata all’attacco con finale amaro, discreta. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione media. Non è complessa né rustica, ma quando è molto fresca (come in questo caso!) di beve discretamente.

Bottle. Clear Yellow Gold. White head. Malty; toasty malts, grainy, caramel, buttery. Hoppy; grassy hops. Spicy; peppery. Fruity; citrus lemon and lime. Sweet malty and moderately hoppy. Salty in the finish. At first taste, a quaffable easy drinking beer. But I found it to be much more complex that that. Flavours are subtle but I got grain, butter, lemon, lime, grass, pepper, salt. Very drinkable. IMHO much under rated. (2017-01)
