Bottle from Rodman’s. Pretty sure this is what I had, the bottle I had was Augustiner-Brau Mundieu Edelstoff. Pours a nice yellow with a minimal head. Little aroma, some grain. Very carbonated. Some malt and grain on the back palette. Very clean flavor that is pretty consistent from front to back. Though this isn’t my favorite style, I’d have a few more of these if I was in the right mood.

From memory, a translucent yellow appearance, foamy white head, sweet malty taste, hops dominanted by malty sweetness. Taste is too sweet and not bitter and heavy enough for a dortmunder export style. Love the Helles beer but can't get on with this one. My local shop orders both the Augustiner Helles and Edelstoff in the same quantities and the Helles sells out much sooner. I can see why.

Couleur paille bien limpide.

On tap at Augustiner Klosterwirt, Munich. Light malt and some floral aroma. Sweet taste, quaffable.

0,5l bottle @ Tuulensuu. Pours clear golden with a medium head. Aroma is malts and a hint of urinal. What? Flavor is better. Clean grassy malts. As it should be. Decent.

Das Bier ist goldgelb und klar. Es ist recht süß, ziemlich malzig und wenig gehopft. Dabei ordentlich süffig. Gutes Alltagsbier.

Light, but you can tell right away that is a quality beer. Slightly sweet, but overall mild flavor. Not as crisp as expected. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fass. Es ist ein tolles Bier, mein Lieblingsbier, um nacheinander auf Partys zu schlagen.

From the 330 ml. bottle. Clear yellow golden pour underneath a quick lasting head. Nice bread, biscuit, cracker, and grass aromas. Light to medium body. Sweet, white bread malt presence in the taste with a mildly dry finish that even has this hint of citrus. Very drinkable, clean, crisp, and refreshing.

crisp, clean lager only as one would expect from a brewery such as augustiner brau. very strong malt, almost bitter for a lager. a bizarre floral and almost skunky aftertaste lingers subtly. stays with you, which is refreshing, for a lager. I need to hunt down more like this.
